  • Jalen Coker WR | CAR

Panthers' Jalen Coker: Looks good in practice

Coker (quadriceps) was a full practice participant Wednesday, with Panthers coach Dave Canales saying afterward that the wideout looked great, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.

Coker was a full practice participant throughout last week but didn't get activated from injured reserve for Sunday's win over the Cowboys. He'll likely be ready this Sunday against the Jets, although Canales didn't commit to anything and said Coker will continue to be evaluated as the week progresses.

  • Darius Slayton WR | NYG

Giants' Darius Slayton: No practice Wednesday

Slayton (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Slayton injured his hamstring during the Giants' Week 5 loss at New Orleans and hasn't practiced in the meantime, sitting out last Thursday's win against the Eagles in the process. He'll have two more chances this week to mix into drills before New York potentially makes a ruling on his status for Sunday's game at Denver.

  • Travis Hunter WR | JAC

Jaguars' Travis Hunter: Ready for larger role?

Jaguars coach Liam Coen said Wednesday that he plans to design and call more plays with Hunter as the first read, ESPN's Michael DiRocco reports.

Hunter had career highs for snap share (79 percent) and route share (88 percent) in Sunday's loss to Seattle, but his seven targets largely came near the line of scrimmage (4.0 aDOT) and led to a meager 4-15-0 receiving line. He's already getting a few schemed touches each week yet has a much lower per-route target rate (19 percent) than teammates Brian Thomas (24 percent), Parker Washington (25 percent), Travis Etienne (23 percent) and Bhayshul Tuten (29 percent). The Jaguars could look to get Hunter more deep/intermediate targets, but that won't necessarily be easy to do against a tough Rams defense this Sunday in London.

  • Calvin Ridley WR | TEN

Titans' Calvin Ridley: Not practicing Wednesday

Ridley (hamstring) wasn't spotted at practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site and Turron Davenport of ESPN.com report.

Ridley was forced out of this past Sunday's 20-10 loss to the Raiders with a hamstring injury after logging just six snaps. The wideout now has two more opportunities to practice ahead of this weekend's game against the Patriots, but if Ridley ends up limited or sidelined, added snaps/targets would be available for Van Jefferson, who stepped into an expanded role in Week 6 following Ridley's departure.

  • Tutu Atwell WR | LAR

Rams' Tutu Atwell: Limited in practice

Rams coach Sean McVay said Wednesday that Atwell (hamstring) will be limited at practice, Stu Jackson of the team's official site reports.

Atwell appears to be trending in the right direction to return from his one-game absence and play Sunday versus Jacksonville, as McVay already expressed optimism about the wideout's status during Monday's press conference. If Atwell can upgrade to full practice reps Thursday and/or Friday, he'll have a fair chance to avoid an injury designation entirely for Week 7.

  • Puka Nacua WR | LAR

Rams' Puka Nacua: Misses practice Wednesday

Rams head coach Sean McVay said Nacua (ankle) will not participate in practice Wednesday, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.

McVay previously labeled Nacua "day-to-day" due to the left low-ankle sprain the star wideout suffered during the Rams' win over the Ravens this past Sunday, but his status remains uncertain for a Week 7 matchup against the Jaguars. In order to have any chance of suiting up this Sunday, Nacua will likely need to log at least limited practice activity Thursday and/or Friday. The Rams have an upcoming Week 8 bye, however, so it's possible that the team could simply allow Nacua to rest and target a tentative return in Week 9 against the Saints on Nov. 2.

  • Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Practicing Wednesday

Wicks (ankle) took part in practice Wednesday, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.

Wicks made an early exit from Sunday's win against the Bengals due to an ankle injury and didn't return to action. Getting back on the practice field just three days later generally is a good sign of health, but Wednesday's injury report ultimately will reveal his activity level to begin Week 7 prep.

  • Steelers' Calvin Austin: Sitting out Thursday's game

Austin (shoulder) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Bengals, Nick Farabaugh of Penn Live reports.

He hasn't practiced since a Week 5 bye and will now miss as second straight game. Austin's absence from win over the Browns this past Sunday left more playing time available for Scotty Miller (50 percent route share) and Roman Wilson (27 percent), but they combined for just one target -- a 12-yard reception by Wilson. Pittsburgh's passing game will likely run through wideout DK Metcalf along with the tight ends and running backs.

  • Cowboys' KaVontae Turpin: Slated to practice Wednesday

Coach Brian Schottenheimer said Turpin (foot) is expected to practice Wednesday, Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Turpin didn't practice at all in advance of sitting out Weeks 5 and 6 due to a foot injury, so his return in some capacity Wednesday is a sign of progress in his recovery. His activity level will be confirmed once the Cowboys post their first Week 7 practice report.

  • CeeDee Lamb WR | DAL

Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: In line to practice Wednesday

Coach Brian Schottenheimer said Lamb (ankle) is expected to practice Wednesday, Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.

After Schottenheimer said Monday the Cowboys were "hopeful" to get Lamb back on the practice field this week, his comments two days later were a bit more definitive, implying that the team's No. 1 WR is drawing closer to his first game action since he suffered a high left-ankle sprain during a Week 3 loss at Chicago. Assuming Lamb does practice Wednesday, he likely will go down as a limited participant.
