Calvin Austin III WR | PIT
Steelers' Calvin Austin: Another DNP on Thursday
Austin (shoulder) remained a non-participant in practice Thursday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Austin injured his shoulder in Pittsburgh's Week 4 win over the Vikings, and he has now missed the team's first two practices coming out of a Week 5 bye. Head coach Mike Tomlin said earlier in the week that Austin could ramp up his practice participation as the week progresses, but Austin will likely need to practice in some capacity Friday to give himself a chance to suit up for Sunday's game against the Browns.

Curtis Samuel WR | BUF
Bills' Curtis Samuel: Limited in practice Thursday
Samuel (neck/ribs) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
Samuel played a season-high 49 percent of offensive snaps during Buffalo's loss to New England in Week 5, in which he secured both of his targets for 26 yards and one score, but he appears to have picked up a pair of injuries in the process. He also racked up 86 yards across three kick returns versus the Patriots. Samuel will figure to handle a similar role on the road against Atlanta on Monday night, as long as he can gain clearance to suit up.

Xavier Worthy WR | KC
Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Non-participant Thursday
Worthy (ankle/shoulder) won't practice Thursday, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Worthy practiced without limitations Wednesday, so it's possible Thursday is just a maintenance day for the 2024 first-round pick, who has had an injury-filled start to his sophomore season. He sat out Weeks 2 and 3 after injuring his shoulder in a collision with Travis Kelce early in Week 1, and Worthy experienced swelling in his ankle shortly before Monday's loss to the Jaguars, though he showed no ill effects from the latter injury in a six-catch performance against Jacksonville. Worthy's participation level Friday will offer valuable insight regarding his availability for Sunday night's game against the Lions.

Amon-Ra St. Brown WR | DET
Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Spotted at practice Thursday
St. Brown (wrist) returned to practice Thursday, Colton Pouncy of The Athletic reports.
St. Brown didn't practice Wednesday due to a wrist injury, but he's back out there Thursday, through it remains to be seen if he's listed as a full participant or merely manages a limited session. In either case, St. Brown's health is trending in the right direction, so the league leader in touchdown receptions (six) will likely suit up Sunday night in Kansas City as he looks to add to that total.

Terry McLaurin WR | WAS
Commanders' Terry McLaurin: Remains sidelined Thursday
McLaurin (quadriceps) isn't practicing Thursday, Tashan Reed of The Washington Post reports.
Per Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic, McLaurin went through a stretching routine with the team Thursday before moving off to a side field, though he isn't in uniform. McLaurin hasn't practiced or played since sustaining a quadriceps injury in Washington's Week 3 win against the Raiders. Head coach Dan Quinn expressed optimism earlier in the week about McLaurin potentially returning to face the Bears on Monday, but McLaurin hasn't demonstrated much tangible progress in his recovery. Washington playing Monday in Week 6 is a double-edged sword for McLaurin's fantasy managers, as the standout wide receiver has an extra day to recover but replacement options will be limited for managers banking on a McLaurin return if his status isn't decided until closer to gametime.

Mike Evans WR | TB
Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Remains spectator for practice
Evans (hamstring) wasn't spotted on the field for Thursday's practice, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
The Buccaneers haven't officially ruled Evans out from playing in Sunday's game against the 49ers, but all signs point to the wideout missing a third straight contest while he's yet to log any practice activity since suffering a moderate left hamstring strain in a Week 3 win over the Jets. Evans' likely absence this weekend would loom even larger than normal if he ends up being joined in street clothes by fellow wideout Chris Godwin (fibula), who could be at risk of sitting out Sunday after missing his second straight practice Thursday.
-
Chris Godwin WR | TB
Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Remains absent from practice
Godwin (fibula) wasn't spotted on the field for Thursday's practice, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Unless he fits in some on-field work behind the scenes during the closed portion of Thursday's session, Godwin will go down as a non-participant for the Buccaneers' first two Week 6 practices. Fellow wideout Mike Evans (hamstring) and running back Bucky Irving (shoulder/foot) have joined Godwin in sitting out both practices, putting the Buccaneers at risk of being without three of their top playmakers for Sunday's game against the 49ers. If both Godwin and Evans are sidelined for the Week 6 contest, Sterling Shepard, Tez Johnson and Ryan Miller could all be in line for added snaps behind Emeka Egbuka, who would be locked in as Tampa Bay's clear No. 1 wideout.

Darnell Mooney WR | ATL
Falcons' Darnell Mooney: Sitting out another practice
Falcons head coach Raheem Morris said that Mooney (hamstring) won't practice Thursday, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports. ""Right now, Mooney is still day-to-day. We'll see what that is," Morris said. "We'll get a good feel for what it looks like moving forward."
Mooney made an early exit from the Falcons' 34-27 win over the Commanders in Week 4 after tweaking his hamstring, but he benefited from a well-timed Week 5 bye. Though Atlanta initially expressed hope that Mooney wouldn't have to miss further action because of the hamstring injury, his absence from the team's first Week 6 practice casts some doubt on his availability. He'll have two more chances to log some practice activity before the Falcons host the Bills on Monday.
-
Devontez Walker WR | BAL
Ravens' Devontez Walker: Still dealing with oblique issue
Walker (oblique) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.
Walker was active in Week 5 versus Houston despite the injury, but it still seems to be bothering him as Baltimore starts its new week of practice. He'll have two more opportunities to practice in full before the Ravens release their final injury report of the week Friday.
-
Jordan Watkins WR | SF
49ers' Jordan Watkins: Still sidelined
Watkins (calf) did not practice Wednesday, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Watkins has dealt with ankle and calf injuries, and has been sidelined for his entire rookie season to this point. His inability to practice doesn't bode well for his chances to be active in Week 6 against the Buccaneers, though he has a few days to change his outlook.
