  • Cooper Kupp WR | SEA

Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: Seven catches in Week 2 surge

Kupp caught seven of nine targets for 90 yards in Sunday's 31-17 win over the Steelers.

Kupp bounced back from a two-catch Seahawks debut but once again finished second on the team in receiving yards behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Kupp and JSN combined for 19 targets while no other teammate had more than four, but Sam Darnold's first two touchdown passes of the season went to Tory Horton and AJ Barner. Up next for Seattle's new-look passing game is a Week 3 home game against the Saints.

  • Puka Nacua WR | LAR

Rams' Puka Nacua: Totals 136 yards against Titans

Nacua recorded eight receptions on nine targets for 91 yards in Sunday's 33-19 win over the Titans. He added one rushing attempt for a 45-yard touchdown.

Nacua made an impact in both conventional and unconventional fashion in Sunday's win. He kicked things off with a 45-yard rushing score early in the first quarter on an end around. Nacua then went on to add long receptions of 24 and 22 yards to cap off an excellent all-around fantasy performance. Through two games, he has 266 yards from scrimmage and 18 receptions.

  • 49ers' Kendrick Bourne: Three catches in return to Niners

Bourne caught all three of his targets for 32 yards in Sunday's 26-21 win over the Saints.

Seeing his first action as a 49er since 2020 after four seasons with the Patriots, Bourne wound up catching passes from a familiar face in former New England quarterback Mac Jones, who was filling in for Brock Purdy (toe/shoulder). Bourne's longest gain went for 13 yards, and as expected, he operated as the clear No. 3 wide receiver behind Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall. Bourne could get competition for that role as soon as Week 4, when Demarcus Robinson returns from a suspension, but that still gives him at least one more game, Week 3 against the Cardinals, in which to make an impact in Week 3.

  • 49ers' Ricky Pearsall: Four grabs in Week 2 win

Pearsall caught four of six targets for 56 yards in Sunday's 26-21 win over the Saints. He also rushed once for minus-4 yards.

The second-year wideout couldn't repeat his big Week 1 performance with Mac Jones under center instead of Brock Purdy (toe/shoulder), but Pearsall still delivered solid production while finishing third on the 49ers in volume behind Jauan Jennings (10 targets) and Christian McCaffrey (seven). Purdy is expected to miss multiple weeks, but Pearsall's involvement in the passing game Sunday suggests there's little reason to downgrade his outlook while catching passes from Jones. Pearsall could be busy again in Week 3 against the Cardinals.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Inefficient in Week 2 loss

Thomas secured four of 12 targets for 49 yards in the Jaguars' 31-27 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.

For the second time in as many games to open the new season, the Trevor Lawrence-Thomas connection was in less than optimal form. The star wideout led the Jaguars in targets by a wide margin, but he was only third in receiving yards despite the abundance of opportunities. Thomas also saw Trevor Lawrence's trio of TD passes go to No. 3 receiver Dyami Brown and running backs Travis Etienne and Bhayshul Tuten, leading to another lackluster afternoon. Thomas' next opportunity to snap out of his early-season doldrums comes in a Week 3 home divisional matchup against the Texans.

  • 49ers' Jauan Jennings: Hauls in deep TD against Saints

Jennings caught five of 10 targets for 89 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-21 win over New Orleans.

The veteran wideout had a little trouble getting on the same page with new quarterback Mac Jones early in the contest, but the duo connected on a 42-yard TD in the fourth quarter that proved to be the game-winning score. Jennings' final line, and the performance of the 49ers' offense in general without Brock Purdy (toe/shoulder) under center, was very encouraging, and he'll look to keep rolling in a Week 3 clash with the Cardinals.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Shines in three-TD performance

St. Brown brought in nine of 11 targets for 115 yards and three touchdowns while adding two rushes for seven yards in the Lions' 52-21 win over the Bears on Sunday.

St. Brown comfortably led the Lions in receptions and targets while edging Jameson Williams for the top spot in receiving yards as well. While his speedy teammate got that runner-up spot largely via a 64-yard chunk play, St. Brown chipped away at the Bears secondary throughout the afternoon with short and medium gains, including touchdown grabs of four, eight and four yards. The two-time All-Pro's breakout performance was a welcome departure from his modest 4-45-0 receiving line Week 1 against Green Bay, and St. Brown's contributions figure to be critical again when the Lions tackle the unenviable task of a road trip to Baltimore for a Week 3 Monday night showdown with the Ravens on Sept. 22.

  • Ja'Marr Chase WR | CIN

Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase: Huge performance in win

Chase recorded 14 receptions on 16 targets for 165 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-27 win over the Jaguars.

Chase struggled in Week 1 against the Browns along with the rest of the Bengals' offense. However, he bounced back in a big way in Week 2, doubling up Tee Higgins in targets while accounting for over half of the team's yards through the air. His touchdown came from four yards away early in the first quarter, and he then tacked on receptions of 25, 16, 14 and 13 yards. Even more impressive was that the majority of Chase's production came with Jake Browning under center after Joe Burrow departed in the second quarter with an apparent toe injury. If Burrow is sidelined for an extended period, Chase's production would likely dip, but his talent and role will keep him locked in as a top option at wide receiver.

  • Seahawks' Jaxon Smith-Njigba: Tops 100 yards again Week 2

Smith-Njigba caught eight of 10 targets for 103 yards in Sunday's 31-17 win over the Steelers.

Smith-Njigba exceeded 100 receiving yards while pacing the Seahawks in targets, catches and receiving yards for the second time in as many games, quickly establishing himself as the top target for new Seattle quarterback Sam Darnold. JSN's still searching for his first TD of 2025 after scoring six times in his breakout sophomore season last year, but his robust volume gives Smith-Njigba one of the highest fantasy floors among wide receivers heading into a Week 3 home game against the Saints.

  • Garrett Wilson WR | NYJ

Jets' Garrett Wilson: Four grabs as Fields gets concussed

Wilson caught four of eight targets for 50 yards in Sunday's 30-10 loss to the Bills.

Wilson was the only player to exceed nine receiving yards for the Jets in the ugly Week 2 loss. He's the clear top target in a Jets passing attack that could be orchestrated by Tyrod Taylor in Week 3 against the Buccaneers after Justin Fields sustained a concussion in the fourth quarter of Sunday's defeat. Wilson had three catches for 33 yards in Taylor's two drives following Fields' injury.
