Jayden Reed WR | GB
Packers' Jayden Reed: Back at practice
Reed (foot) is taking part in Thursday's practice, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
After sitting out the first practice of Week 1 prep Wednesday, Reed was back on the field as he continues his management of what has been reported to be a Jones fracture in his left foot, which he intends to play through this season. He was working in individual drills Thursday, per Bill Huber of SI.com, so he appears as if he'll go down as a limited participant, at the very least.

Christian Kirk WR | SF
Texans' Christian Kirk: Not seen at practice Thursday
Kirk (hamstring) wasn't spotted during the media-access portion of practice Thursday, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN.com reports.
After being held out of practice Wednesday, per Bien-Aime, Kirk wasn't present at the start of Thursday's session, which sets the stage for what he does Friday (if anything) to loom large in terms of his chances to play Sunday against the Rams. If Kirk ends up sidelined this weekend, added opportunities behind Nico Collins would be available for rookie WRs Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel, as well as Xavier Hutchinson.

Jalen Nailor WR | LV
Vikings' Jalen Nailor: Returns to practice
Nailor (hand) returned to practice Wednesday for the first time since Aug. 14, the Minnesota Star Tribune reports.
It's not clear how much Nailor was able to do in practice, but this is a positive sign for his chances to play in Week 1. More should be known on his status when the Vikings start releasing official practice reports Thursday ahead of Monday's game at Chicago. Nailor could take on an increased role early in the campaign with Jordan Addison set to miss the first three weeks while suspended, but the acquisition of Adam Thielen may limit his upside,

Jauan Jennings WR | SF
49ers' Jauan Jennings: Inks incentive-based contract
The 49ers and Jennings (calf) agreed Wednesday to add $3 million in play-time incentives to his contract for the 2025 season, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Jennings spent much of the summer nursing a calf injury while also making it known that he wanted a new contract. While it's not a multi-year deal for Jennings, the $3 million increases the wide receiver's earning potential for 2025 up to $10.5 million. Jennings is scheduled to be a free agent next March. As far as his Week 1 availability against the Seahawks, Jennings was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, putting him on track to play Sunday.

Cody White WR | SEA
Seahawks' Cody White: Dealing with shoulder injury
White (shoulder) was a limited participant in Seattle's practice Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
White had a strong performance during the team's final preseason game but is now in jeopardy of missing the start of the regular season. The Seahawks could find themselves shorthanded at receiver for Sunday's matchup, as Jake Bobo (concussion) and Dareke Young (hamstring) are both dealing with injuries as well.
-
Dareke Young WR | LV
Seahawks' Dareke Young: Limited participant in practice
Young (hamstring) was a limited participant in Seattle's practice Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Young's status for Sunday's season opener against the 49ers is now up in the air after he popped up on the team's injury report Wednesday. His availability in practice Thursday and Friday will provide more clarity on whether the 26-year-old will be able to suit up versus San Francisco.

Lance McCutcheon WR | TEN
Lance McCutcheon: Joins Pittsburgh's practice squad
The Steelers signed McCutcheon to their practice squad Wednesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Pittsburgh waived McCutcheon ahead of final roster cuts, but after a somewhat promising training camp, he'll now get to stay with the team as a member of the practice squad. The Steelers have one of the league's thinnest wide receiver groups behind DK Metcalf, so McCutcheon could be closer to the field than the average practice squad wideout.

Jake Bobo WR | SEA
Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Remains limited by concussion
Bobo (concussion) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Bobo entered the concussion protocol during the Seahawks' preseason finale at Green Bay when a teammate was blocked into him on a punt return, causing him to fumble. Coach Mike Macdonald told Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune on Wednesday that Bobo still was in the protocol, but he was spotted fielding punts during Monday's unpadded practice. Considering he has a cap on his reps, Bobo likely has a few hurdles to get past in order to make himself available Sunday versus the 49ers.

Braxton Berrios WR | HOU
Texans' Braxton Berrios: Nursing hamstring injury
Berrios did not participate in Wednesday's practice due to a hamstring injury, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
It's unclear when Berrios sustained the injury, but it was severe enough for him to miss Wednesday's practice. He'll have two more days to return to practice and fade an injury tag heading into Sunday's regular-season opener against the Rams in Los Angeles. Berrios signed a one-year deal with the Texans in March and is slated to see most of his playing time on special teams as a returner.
-
Christian Kirk WR | SF
Texans' Christian Kirk: DNP due to hamstring injury
Kirk was held out of practice Wednesday due to a hamstring injury.
Houston acquired Kirk from the Jaguars in early March for a 2026 seventh-round pick, after which he and the Texans reworked his contract by the end of that month. He seemingly locked up the No. 2 WR role behind Nico Collins by mid-August, but a new health concern now may threaten his availability for Week 1 and beyond. Getting back on the practice field Thursday and/or Friday will be key for Kirk's potential to play Sunday at the Rams, but if he's limited or out this weekend, rookies Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel would be in line for more targets from QB C.J. Stroud.
