Xavier Hutchinson WR | HOU
Texans' Xavier Hutchinson: Two catches in loss
Hutchinson caught two of two targets for 30 yards and ran the ball once for another five yards in Sunday's 14-9 loss to the Rams.
Hutchinson benefitted from the absences of Christian Kirk (hamstring) and Braxton Berrios (hamstring) and played 43 offensive snaps (68 percent). That was second most on the club behind Nico Collins (53) and more than the two wideouts selected in the second and third rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft -- Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel. It's hard to take anything definitive away from the season opener, when Houston's offense and quarterback C.J. Stroud were not operating at peak efficiency. So, good for Hutchinson that he was on the field often, but there were times in 2024 when he was given starter-level snaps, but it rarely panned out to be fantasy gold.

Marvin Mims WR | DEN
Broncos' Marvin Mims: Quiet day with three receptions
Mims brought in three of four targets for 12 yards with a lost fumble in Sunday's 20-12 win over the Titans.
Mims was able to suit up after practicing all week while recovering from a thigh injury. Managers may have hoped he sat this one out after a lost fumble resulted in a negative fantasy score in standard formats. Courtland Sutton (6-61-1) and Troy Franklin (4-44-0) finished with more targets and better production than Mims. The 23-year-old Mims will have to step it up, starting with next Sunday's matchup against the Colts, or run the risk of falling down the receiver depth chart.

Kalif Raymond WR | CHI
Lions' Kalif Raymond: Two catches in loss
Raymond caught two of three targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Packers.
Raymond was pretty much an afterthought on offense in Week 1, garnering just three looks from quarterback Jared Goff, which ranked sixth on the team. The wide receiver is firmly behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams on the depth chart, while rookie Isaac TeSlaa figures to see a larger role as the season goes on. Raymond remains more of a special-teams asset than an offensive weapon as the 2025 campaign has gotten underway.

Jaylin Noel WR | HOU
Texans' Jaylin Noel: Disappointing debut Sunday
Noel had one reception on two targets for seven yards in Sunday's 14-9 loss to the Rams.
The third-round rookie failed to capitalize on the absence of wideouts Christian Kirk (hamstring) and Braxton Berrios (hamstring). Noel finished with the lowest output of any player with a reception while finishing in a tie for eighth among Houston receivers in targets. With Kirk expected to return soon, Noel's fantasy prospects appear bleak to begin the fantasy campaign.

Isaac TeSlaa WR | DET
Lions' Isaac TeSlaa: Secures acrobatic TD
TeSlaa reeled in his only target for a 13-yard touchdown in Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Packers.
TeSlaa made the most of his only opportunity Sunday, going up the ladder to snag a 13-yard score with 55 seconds remaining in the game. The rookie finished behind Amon-Ra St. Brown (six), Jameson Williams (five) and Kalif Raymond (three) in targets at his position, but he was the only one to reach the end zone. The Packers' defense was rather stingy in Week 1, and TeSlaa may have an easier path to production in Week 2 against the Bears, who will be playing on short rest after their matchup with the Vikings on Monday Night Football.

Rashod Bateman WR | BAL
Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Finishes with two receptions Sunday
Bateman brought in two of four targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 41-40 loss to the Bills.
It was a disappointing outing for Bateman in such a high-scoring affair, but he did manage to finish second in targets among Baltimore receiving options. The 2021 first-round selection posted a career best 45-756-9 receiving line for the Ravens in 2024, so there is hope that the No. 2 wideout can produce better numbers than what we saw in Sunday's loss. Bateman's next opportunity to cash in that potential comes in a home matchup against the Browns next Sunday.

Elic Ayomanor WR | TEN
Titans' Elic Ayomanor: Targeted often by Ward
Ayomanor recorded two receptions on seven targets for 13 yards in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Broncos.
Ayomanor's stat line was underwhelming in his regular-season debut, but Cam Ward looked his way often. Ayomanor finished second on the team in targets behind only Calvin Ridley, most notably out-pacing Tyler Lockett. Ayomanor's results are likely to be inconsistent as the Titans' offense comes together, but he looks to be a favorite target of Ward early on.
-
Troy Franklin WR | DEN
Broncos' Troy Franklin: Targeted six times
Franklin recorded four catches on six targets for 44 yards in Sunday's 20-12 win over the Titans.
Franklin finished second on the team in targets, receptions and yards, notably out-performing Marvin Mims. Franklin got involved early, with three of his four catches coming in the first 17 minutes of game time, and he then chipped in a 15-yard reception late in the fourth quarter to help keep a key drive alive. Target distribution behind Courtland Sutton is likely to be inconsistent in Denver, but Franklin managed a solid Week 1 performance to kick off his sophomore campaign.
-
Zay Flowers WR | BAL
Ravens' Zay Flowers: Monster performance on SNF
Flowers had seven receptions on nine targets for 143 yards and a touchdown while adding eight rushing yards on two attempts in Sunday's 41-40 loss to the Bills.
Flowers overcame an undisclosed injury during the practice week in order to suit up for Baltimore's season opener. Fantasy managers were elated to not only see the speedy receiver in the starting lineup, but also back producing true WR1 numbers after suffering a knee sprain in Week 18 last year. The 143 receiving yards set a new high-water mark for the third-year wideout, while his nine targets finished five ahead of the second-highest player (Rashod Bateman). Flowers is shaping up to be an elite fantasy option heading into next Sunday's tilt against the Browns.

Khalil Shakir WR | BUF
Bills' Khalil Shakir: Six catches in Week 1 win
Shakir caught six of nine targets for 64 yards in Sunday's 41-40 win over the Ravens.
Shakir showed no ill effects from the high-ankle sprain that sidelined him during training camp, as he finished second on the team in targets, catches and receiving yards behind Keon Coleman, who had 112 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets. Shakir led the Bills in all three categories last season, but the emergence of Coleman and addition of Joshua Palmer in the offseason gives Shakir more competition for attention from Josh Allen heading into a Week 2 road game against the Jets.
