  • Ainias Smith WR | PHI

    Ainias Smith: Cut by Philly

The Eagles waived Smith on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Smith was a fifth-round pick out of Texas A&M last year and appeared in seven regular-season games as a rookie, catching seven of his nine targets for 41 yards and one touchdown. He produced a 6-40-2 receiving line on 86 offensive snaps this preseason. The Eagles will likely try to sneak Smith through waivers and onto the practice squad.

  • Simi Fehoko WR | ARI

    Simi Fehoko: Released by Arizona

The Cardinals released Fehoko on Tuesday, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.

This one comes as a mild surprise, as Fehoko appeared to be a leading candidate for one of the final wideout spots in Arizona due to his ability to play special teams. Fehoko played 41 offensive snaps and another 21 on special teams during the preseason, securing three of his six targets for 31 yards and two touchdowns.

  • Isaiah Neyor WR | GB

Isaiah Neyor: Cut by Green Bay

The Packers waived Neyor on Tuesday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

The undrafted rookie out of Nebraska logged 66 offensive snaps this preseason but failed to catch a pass on three targets. He'll look for an opportunity elsewhere.

  • A.T. Perry WR | DEN

    A.T. Perry: Cut by Denver

The Broncos waived Perry on Tuesday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.

Perry spent the first few weeks of training camp on the active/PUP list, so he was already behind the curve in terms of winning a roster spot. After missing the first two preseason games, Perry logged 10 offensive snaps in the exhibition finale but failed to catch his only target.

  • Kaden Davis WR | CLE

Kaden Davis: Can't secure roster spot

The Browns are waiving Davis on Tuesday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Davis put together a strong preseason in Cleveland and is expected to resurface on the team's practice squad if he clears waivers. A 2022 UDFA, Davis' regular-season debut came in Week 18 with the Browns last season, a game in which he wasn't targeted but impressed on special teams by racking up 107 yards as a kick returner.

  • Chris Moore WR | WAS

    Chris Moore: Released by Washington

The Commanders released Moore on Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Moore appeared in five regular-season games for the Cardinals last season but was released in November. He signed with Washington's practice squad Dec. 26 and re-signed with the team following the season. The 32-year-old caught one pass for five yards this preseason.

  • Andrew Armstrong: Let go by Miami

The Dolphins waived Armstrong on Tuesday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

Armstrong spent the offseason in Miami after going undrafted out of Arkansas back in April, but he couldn't secure a spot on the 53-man roster. The rookie wideout will look to practice squads around the league as he seeks his next NFL opportunity.

  • Robert Woods WR | PIT

    Robert Woods: Steelers move on

The Steelers are releasing Woods, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The door is open for a possible return to the team after the 53-man roster is finalized if he doesn't get a better offer, but Woods plans to play in 2025 regardless. For now it looks like the Steelers' WR3 job behind DK Metcalf and Calvin Austin (abdomen) remains up for grabs, with 2024 third-round pick Roman Wilson and veteran Scotty Miller the top options.

  • Ife Adeyi WR | PHI

    Ife Adeyi: Waived by Philly

The Eagles waived Adeyi on Tuesday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Adeyi spent time with Philadelphia both during spring and summer, but he couldn't carve out a spot on the initial 53-man roster. The team could be interested in bringing the undrafted rookie out of Sam Houston back as a member of the practice squad, if he clears waivers.

  • Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Dumped by G-Men

The Giants released Humphrey on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Humphrey had a productive preseason, catching six passes for 94 yards and one touchdown on eight targets across 96 offensive snaps. The 27-year-old veteran wideout appeared in all 17 regular-season games for the Broncos last season, making seven starts, and finished with a 31-293-1 receiving line on 45 targets.
