  • Dayton Wade WR | BAL

Ravens' Dayton Wade: Undergoing rib surgery

Head coach John Harbaugh said Monday that Wade will be "out for a while" due to a rib injury that he suffered during Saturday's preseason game against the Commanders, Clifton Brown of the Ravens' official site reports.

Wade suffered the injury on the first play of the second quarter, when he took a hit from Antonio Hamilton while hauling in a 15-yard pass. Wade spent the entire 2024 season on the Ravens' practice squad, but his injury makes it likely that he'll be part of the team's roster cuts Tuesday.

  • Ravens' Xavier Guillory: Set for extended absence

Guillory broke his clavicle during the Ravens' preseason finale against the Commanders on Saturday, and head coach John Harbaugh relayed Monday that the undrafted rookie will be "out for a while," Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Guillory suffered the injury during the third quarter of Saturday's game, finishing the contest with three catches (on five targets) for 17 yards. He was a long shot to make the Ravens' 53-man roster, but he could be a member of the team's practice squad once he is fully recovered from the injury.

  • Patriots' Efton Chism: Doesn't practice Monday

Chism (foot/ankle) did not participate in Monday's practice, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.

Chism continues to work through foot and ankle injuries that he picked up during the Patriots' second preseason game against the Vikings. The undrafted rookie has impressed the Patriots' coaching staff during training camp and has a solid chance of making the 53-man roster for the start of the regular season. If he does make the cut, Chism's practice participation over the next two weeks will indicate his availability for the Patriots' Week 1 contest against the Raiders on Sunday, Sept. 7.

  • Ashton Dulin WR | IND

Colts' Ashton Dulin: Recovering from concussion

Head coach Shane Steichen told reporters Monday that Dulin has been "progressing well" in his recovery from a concussion that he sustained during practice last week, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

The injury forced Dulin to miss the Colts' preseason finale against the Bengals on Saturday. He'll need to clear the league's five-step concussion protocol in order to be available for the Colts' Week 1 contest against the Dolphins on Sunday, Sept. 7. Dulin finished the 2024 regular season with two catches (on eight targets) for 67 yards and a touchdown while adding five carries for 45 yards and 148 kick-return yards across 15 regular-season games.

  • TJ Sheffield WR | TEN

TJ Sheffield: Let go by Tennessee

The Titans waived Sheffield on Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Sheffield signed with the Titans in May as an undrafted free agent. He was a long shot to make the 53-man roster, but he had his opportunities during the preseason, finishing with a 12-yard catch and 74 return yards on three kickoffs. Assuming he clears waivers, Sheffield will look to catch on with a team in need of a receiver on the practice squad.

  • Jha'Quan Jackson: Let go by Tennessee

The Titans waived Jackson on Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Jackson failed to record a catch across three preseason games, and while his clearest path to the Titans' 53-man roster was as a returner, he was outperformed by James Proche and fourth-round rookie Chimere Dike. Jackson won't be on Tennessee's main roster for the start of the regular season, but he could return to the team as a member of the practice squad assuming he clears waivers.

  • Michael Gallup WR | WAS

Michael Gallup: Let go by Commanders

    Washington released Gallup on Monday.

Gallup came out of retirement back in March and spent the entire offseason with the Commanders, but while he could be a candidate to resurface on the practice squad, he won't make the team's initial 53-man roster. The 29-year-old wideout last suited up for regular-season action in 2023 with the Cowboys, when he played all 17 games and posted a 34-418-2 line on 57 targets.

  • Matt Landers WR | TEN

Matt Landers: Waived with injury designation

The Titans waived Landers (undisclosed) with an injury designation Monday.

Landers didn't play in either of the Titans' final two preseason contests after logging nine offensive snaps in the exhibition opener. He'll revert to injured reserve in Tennessee if he clears waivers.

  • Josh Downs WR | IND

Colts' Josh Downs: Approaching return to practice

Coach Shane Steichen expects Downs (hamstring) to return to practice by next week, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Downs has been dealing with a hamstring issue since Aug. 14, but it appears as though he's not too far away from returning to practice. With that in mind, the wideout is trending toward being ready for Week 1 action, in the absence of any setbacks.

  • Jakobi Meyers WR | JAC

    Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Requests trade

Meyers has requested a trade from the Raiders, Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL Network report.

Per Pelissero, after Meyers -- who is due $10.76 million in the last year of his contract -- couldn't agree on an extension with the Raiders, the wideout requested a trade. That said, Rapoport notes that at this stage the team has no plans to deal the 28-year-old, who caught 87 passes in 15 regular-season games in 2024.
