  • Jake Bobo WR | SEA

Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Scores twice in preseason win

Bobo caught two passes for 24 yards and two touchdowns in Friday's 33-16 preseason win over the Chiefs.

Both of Bobo's catches went for 12 yards and were from Drew Lock. The UCLA product has impressed during training camp and is on track to secure a roster spot, likely as the No. 5 wide receiver because of the emergence of rookie Tory Horton (ankle). Through two seasons with the Seahawks, Bobo has recorded 32 receptions for 303 yards and three touchdowns.

  • Dareke Young WR | LV

Seahawks' Dareke Young: Leading receiver in preseason win

Young caught three passes (three targets) for 52 yards in Friday's 33-16 preseason win over the Chiefs. He also returned a kick for 29 yards.

Young is on the roster bubble, but he continues to make a strong case for one of the final spots. The 2022 seventh-round pick hasn't caught a pass in the regular season since his rookie year, but he's a speedy receiver who's capable of returning kicks and making tackles as a special-teams gunner. He'll have once last chance to confirm his roster spot in Saturday's preseason finale versus the Packers.

  • Malik Nabers WR | NYG

Giants' Malik Nabers: Also working through back issue

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Nabers (toe/shoulder) has been held out of practice while working through a minor back injury.

Nabers also is working through a toe injury from the spring and a shoulder issue that he suffered during a training camp practice in late July, and he's unlikely to play in the Giants' preseason finale against the Patriots on Thursday. Although Nabers is dealing with multiple injuries, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com relays that there are positive signs that the 2024 sixth overall pick is on track to play in the Giants' regular-season opener against the Commanders on Sunday, Sept. 7. The Giants will play things conservatively with Nabers for the time being, but a return to practice will be crucial for the young wide receiver to build reps and chemistry with Russell Wilson.

  • Jalin Hyatt WR | NYG

Giants' Jalin Hyatt: Nabs one catch in preseason debut

Hyatt caught one of two targets for 21 yards in a 31-12 exhibition win over the Jets on Saturday.

Hyatt sat out New York's preseason opener last Saturday while dealing with an undisclosed issue, but he was able to suit up and log 11 offensive snaps against the Jets. His catch was a 21-yard connection with Russell Wilson on the Giants' first drive of the second quarter. The upcoming season could be a crucial one for Hyatt, as he'll have the opportunity to work with a more stable set of quarterbacks in Wilson, Jameis Winston and Jaxson Dart following two disappointing campaigns to begin his NFL career. However, Hyatt is behind each of Malik Nabers (toe/shoulder/back), Darius Slayton and Wan'Dale Robinson on the depth chart, making his path to production tricky.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Secures one catch Saturday

Robinson hauled in one of two targets for six yards in Saturday's 31-12 preseason victory versus the Jets.

As with most of New York's key players, Robinson's time on the field was brief -- he played just seven offensive snaps, a bit fewer than fellow WR roster locks Darius Slayton (10) and Jalin Hyatt (11). Nonetheless, Robinson was the only member of that trio to get multiple targets, and his lone catch came on a short hookup with Russell Wilson. Robinson got a healthy 140 targets and caught 93 of them last season, though he averaged only 7.5 YPC. Malik Nabers (toe/shoulder/back) hasn't yet played in a preseason game, but he's expected to get the lion's share of attention among New York's receiving corps again in 2025. That should leave Robinson, Slayton and (to a lesser extent) Hyatt competing for looks from a new QB room that features Wilson, Jameis Winston and rookie Jaxson Dart.

  • Jalen Brooks WR | ARI

Cowboys' Jalen Brooks: Past hip issue

Brooks (hip) played 25 snaps on offense and caught his lone pass for 11 yards during the Cowboys' 31-13 preseason loss to the Ravens on Saturday.

Brooks was working through a hip injury leading up to Saturday's game but was cleared to play after going through pregame warmups without suffering a setback. The 2023 seventh-rounder is battling for a spot on Dallas' 53-man roster, but it's worth noting that he didn't play a single snap on special teams after playing six in the Cowboys' preseason opener against the Rams. Brooks' last chance to audition for a roster spot is in Friday's preseason finale against the Cardinals.

  • Rashid Shaheed WR | SEA

Saints' Rashid Shaheed: Poised to play Sunday

Shaheed is participating in pregame warmups and is in line to play in Sunday's preseason game against the Jaguars, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Shaheed did not play in the Saints' preseason opener against the Chargers despite participating in warmups, but he's taking part in the team part of pregame routines Sunday along with Chris Olave (ankle). If Shaheed does play, he'll likely be limited to one or two offensive series to build chemistry and in-game reps with rookie QB Tyler Shough.

  • Chris Olave WR | NO

Saints' Chris Olave: Might play Sunday

Olave (ankle) is suited up and participating in pregame warmups ahead of Sunday's preseason contest against the Jaguars, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.

Olave has been dealing with an ankle injury and was sidelined for the Saints' preseason opener against the Chargers. He'll join Alvin Kamara and Rashid Shaheed in warmups, but it's far from a guarantee that Olave sees the field Sunday, and even if he does he would likely be limited to one or two offensive series. The Saints' depth wideouts should see the bulk of the workload Sunday, including Brandin Cooks, Cedrick Wilson, Mason Tipton and Kevin Austin.

  • Dyami Brown WR | WAS

Jaguars' Dyami Brown: Not playing vs. New Orleans

Brown will not play in Sunday's preseason game against the Saints.

The Jaguars will be playing most of their offensive starters outside of Brown and Travis Hunter (upper body). Brown played 10 snaps on offense in the Jaguars' preseason opener against the Steelers, turning one carry into seven yards while not seeing a target. The 2021 third-rounder signed a one-year contract with the Jaguars in March after spending the first four years of his NFL career with the Commanders, and he is slated as the WR3 behind Hunter and Brian Thomas.

  • Falcons' Ray-Ray McCloud: Roster spot secured

McCloud didn't play in Friday's 23-20 preseason loss to the Titans.

For a second straight week, McCloud was in street clothes along with Drake London, Darnell Mooney (shoulder), KhaDarel Hodge and Jamal Agnew, who are all expected to make the initial 53-man roster. After suiting up for four teams in six years to start his career, McCloud finally was given an expanded offensive role in Atlanta last year. He posted career highs in receptions (62), targets (87), receiving yards (686), rushing attempts (10) and rushing yards (79) while playing nearly as many offensive snaps in 2025 as he had in his previous six seasons combined. Not only is McCloud a roster lock, per Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site, but he could see an early boost in usage if Mooney is unable to go Week 1 of the regular season.
