  • Broncos' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Finishes second season in Denver

Humphrey ended the 2024 regular season with 31 receptions on 45 targets for 293 yards and a touchdown across 17 games.

Humphrey recorded career highs in catches, targets and yards during the 2024 campaign while appearing in all 17 games for the second straight season. With that said, the veteran wideout was not a major part of the Broncos' offensive plans this season, operating in a depth role behind Courtland Sutton, Devaughn Vele, Marvin Mims and Troy Franklin. Humphrey will head into the offseason as an unrestricted free agent, but its possible his long-standing connection with head coach Sean Payton could help him to get another contract offer from the Broncos if he doesn't land with a new team in 2025.

  • David Bell WR | CLE

Browns' David Bell: Healing from season-ending surgery

Bell recorded three catches for 27 yards on three targets during his lone appearance of the season before dislocating his right hip in a Week 2 win over the Jaguars and undergoing surgery.

The hip injury prevented Bell from staking a claim to a larger role in Cleveland's receiving corps late in the season, when other young wideouts like Cedric Tillman and Michael Woods were able to move into larger role. It's unclear where Bell stands with regards to the injury, but he enters the final season of his rookie deal in 2025 as one of the more experienced rostered receivers on an offense that will undergo change during the offseason.

  • Browns' Michael Woods: Finishes season with seven catches

Woods (knee) recorded seven catches on 18 targets for 65 yards over five appearances during the 2024 season.

All of Woods' playing time came during a five-week stretch between Weeks 12 and 17, before a knee injury prevented him from suiting up for the season finale. He often served as the third wideout in those contests, though he likely would have fallen further in the pecking order had Cedric Tillman (concussion) and/or David Bell (hip) been available.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Targeted four times in Week 18

Lockett caught two of four targets for 28 yards in Sunday's 30-25 win over the Rams.

The veteran wideout finished the 2024 campaign with 49 catches for 600 yards two touchdowns, his lowest totals in each category since 2017. The emergence of second-year wideout Jaxon Smith-Njiba resulted in Lockett moving into a tertiary role in the passing game, with Smith-Njiba and DK Metcalf being the clear top targets for quarterback Geno Smith. Lockett will enter the final year of his contract in 2025, and with both Smith-Njigba and Metcalf on the books as well, Lockett is unlikely to see his role grow next season.

  • Mack Hollins WR | NE

Bills' Mack Hollins: Three grabs against New England

Hollins caught three of four targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Patriots.

Hollins played all but one of the Bills' 67 offensive snaps Sunday, his highest snap percentage of the season. With Buffalo having clinched the No. 2 seed in the AFC, the Bills elected to rest many of their key players, opening the door to extended playing time for the veteran wideout. Despite seeing a major uptick in usage and leading all wide receivers in playing time, Hollins' minimal production was disappointing. Nonetheless, the 31-year-old will revert back to his depth role when Bills host the Broncos in the wild-card round of the playoffs.

  • Romeo Doubs WR | NE

Packers' Romeo Doubs: Full practice Wednesday

Doubs (illness) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Doubs came down with an illness this past weekend and wasn't able so suit up in Sunday's loss to the Bears. He told Ryan Wood of USA Today on Wednesday that his condition worsened leading up to the Week 18 game, but he's been "doing better" in the meantime. With an uncapped session now under his belt, Doubs will make his return to a receiving corps that will be without Christian Watson for its playoff run due to a torn ACL suffered last weekend. Watson's absence should open up snaps and targets for Doubs along with Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, Bo Melton and Malik Heath during Sunday's wild-card game in Philadelphia.

  • Texans' John Metchie: Limited in return to practice

Metchie (shoulder) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday.

After missing Tuesday's practice, Metchie's return to the field a day later bodes well for his availability for Saturday's playoff opener against the Chargers. With that in mind, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston previously noted that the wideout is expected to play this weekend, though Metchie may need to practice fully Thursday in order to avoid an injury designation.

  • DeVonta Smith WR | PHI

Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Sidesteps injury report

Smith (wrist/rest) wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report ahead of Sunday's wild-card game against the Packers.

With the Eagles locked into the No. 2 seed in the NFC, they rested a number of starters in a Week 18 matchup with the Giants, but in advance of that contest, Smith didn't practice at all due to a wrist issue and rest. Now that he's avoided the practice report entirely to begin this week, he's good to go after a one-game absence. The biggest question mark for Philadelphia's playoff opener is who will be under center. Both Jalen Hurts (concussion/left finger) and Kenny Pickett (ribs) were limited participants Wednesday, so the situation bears watching in the coming days.

  • A.J. Brown WR | PHI

    Eagles' A.J. Brown: Limited Wednesday

Brown (knee/rest) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.

Brown was listed with both the knee injury and rest on Eagles injury reports in advance of each of the team's final three games of the regular season. He suited up for the first two contests, combining for a 11-133-2 line on 20 targets between Weeks 16 and 17. With Philadelphia locked into the No. 2 seed in the NFC heading into Week 18, he sat out along with a number of starters this past Sunday against the Giants. The Eagles are easing Brown into this week as well, but he'll have two more chances to get back to full participation before the team potentially tags him with a designation ahead of Sunday's wild-card game versus the Packers.

  • Chargers' Quentin Johnston: Misses practice Wednesday

Johnston didn't practice Wednesday due to a thigh injury and an illness.

Johnston was a limited participant in Tuesday's practice due to the thigh issue, but an illness has since been attached to his name on the Chargers' injury report and was cited as a reason for his absence Wednesday. The Chargers will hold their final practice of the week Thursday, which will help determine the statuses of both Johnston and fellow wideout Joshua Palmer (foot) heading into Saturday's playoff opener against the Texans. Palmer sat out the Chargers' Week 18 win over the Raiders and has yet to practice this week.
