  • Cedric Gray LB | TEN

Titans' Cedric Gray: First absence of 2025 on tap

Gray (concussion) won't play Sunday against the Chiefs, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Gray will sit out for the first time this season. He will need to clear the NFL's five-step concussion protocol to have a chance to play in Week 17 against the Saints. Joe Bachie or Dorian Mausi will likely play in Tennessee's base 3-4 defense as a result of Gray's absence.

  • Justice Hill RB | BAL

Ravens' Justice Hill: Coach optimistic for return in 2025

Head coach John Harbaugh said Friday that Hill (neck) coming back in Week 17 against the Packers or Week 18 against the Steelers is a "real possibility."

Hill will miss a fourth consecutive game while on injured reserve Sunday against the Patriots, but the change-of-pace running back could be back before the conclusion of the regular season. Keaton Mitchell and Rasheen Ali have mixed in behind Derrick Henry during Hill's absence.

  • Patriots' Carlton Davis: Questionable to face Ravens

Davis (hip) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

The Patriots could be shorthanded in the secondary depending on the status of Davis and slot cornerback Marcus Jones (knee), both of whom are listed as questionable. Charles Woods would likely be pressed into additional action if either Davis or Jones doesn't play.

  • Tariq Woolen CB | PHI

Seahawks' Riq Woolen: Getting MRI on knee

Woolen (knee) and safety Coby Bryant (knee) are getting MRIs on Friday, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.

The Seahawks won Thursday's matchup against the Rams but lost two starting defensive backs along the way. Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald didn't have an update Friday morning apart from saying that Woolen, Bryant and unnamed others are scheduled for MRIs.

  • Marcus Jones CB | NE

Patriots' Marcus Jones: Questionable for Week 16

Jones (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Jones said Friday that he plans to suit up, per Reiss, but a final determination on Jones' status may not come until around 90 minutes prior to Sunday night's 8:20 ET kickoff. The 2022 third-round draft pick typically operates as New England's primary nickel cornerback and punt returner.

  • Patriots' Harold Landry: Questionable for SNF

Landry (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Landry has consistently suited up despite being listed with a knee injury, and Sunday night is likely to be no different, though confirmation on his status may not come until around 90 minutes prior to the 8:20 ET kickoff in Baltimore. The starting outside linebacker has 8.5 sacks in 14 appearances, including a sack in each of the past three games.

  • CeeDee Lamb WR | DAL

Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Returns to practice Friday

Lamb (illness) returned to practice Friday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

Lamb's return at the end of the week suggests he should be fine for Sunday's game against the Chargers. He didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, but there's been no hint of concern coming out of Dallas.

  • Patriots' Robert Spillane: Ruled out against Ravens

Spillane (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Ravens, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Spillane was active in the Week 15 loss to Buffalo but didn't see the field due to a foot injury. He's now dealing with an ankle issue that will keep the starting linebacker sidelined for New England's primetime matchup against the Ravens on Sunday. Jack Gibbens and Jahlani Tavai are candidates for more playing time in Spillane's absence.

  • Denzel Ward CB | CLE

Browns' Denzel Ward: Won't play against Bills

Ward (calf) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

Ward will miss a second consecutive game, and he has yet to return to practice since sustaining a calf injury during Cleveland's Week 14 loss to the Titans. Sam Webb is likely ticketed for a larger role in Ward's continued absence.

  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Browns' Deshaun Watson: Roster decision coming next week

Watson (Achilles) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

Per Oyefusi, coach Kevin Stefanski said the Browns will make a decision on whether to add Watson back to the active roster prior to the team's Week 17 game against Pittsburgh. An official transaction activating Watson from the reserve/PUP list will have to be made by next Tuesday, or Watson will be ineligible to play this season. Shedeur Sanders will start Sunday against the Bills.
