  • Luke Newman G | CHI

Bears' Luke Newman: Will miss Week 13 matchup

Newman (foot) has been ruled out for Friday's game against Philadelphia.

Newman wasn't able to participate in any practice sessions this week (two were walkthroughs) due to a foot injury. The rookie logged a season-high 22 offensive snaps last Sunday against Pittsburgh but had previously played just three offensive snaps over his first eight games.

  • Kyler Gordon CB | CHI

Bears' Kyler Gordon: Officially questionable for Friday

Gordon (calf) has been deemed questionable to play against Philadelphia on Black Friday.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported earlier Thursday that Gordon is expected to be activated for Friday's battle, and that could certainly be the case, but for now he is officially questionable. He's still on IR and will need to be activated by Thursday afternoon in order to suit up against the Eagles. Gordon has played in only two games this season, as he also missed the first four contests of the campaign due to a hamstring issue.

  • Bears' Dominique Robinson: Not playing Friday

Robinson (concussion) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Eagles.

The defensive end has been listed as a non-participant throughout the practice week, so his status is not a surprise. Robinson has played about as often on special teams as defense this year.

  • Bears' Tyrique Stevenson: Sitting out Friday's contest

Stevenson (hip) has been ruled out for Friday's Week 13 clash against the Eagles.

Stevenson had to make an early exit from Sunday's win over Pittsburgh after hurting his hip. He was listed as a DNP in all three of Chicago's practices this week (two were walkthroughs), and he'll be held out from Friday's matchup. Kyler Gordon (calf), Jaylon Jones or Nick McCloud could step into a starting role in Stevenson's stead.

  • Bears' Gervon Dexter: Should be good to go

Dexter (hand) was a full participant in practice Thursday ahead of Friday's matchup with the Eagles.

The defensive tackle upgraded from limited participation Wednesday to full participation Thursday. Dexter has played on at least 51 percent of the defensive snaps in all 11 of Chicago's games this year, recording 26 tackles (12 solo), including 4.0 sacks, and two fumble recoveries in total.

  • Noah Sewell LB | CHI

Bears' Noah Sewell: Remaining out Week 13

Sewell (elbow) has been ruled out for Friday's tilt against the Eagles.

Sewell will miss a second straight game due to an elbow injury. He was listed as a non-participant in all three practice sessions (though two were walkthroughs) this week, so his status for the Sunday, Dec. 7 clash against Green Bay is also hazy. The Bears are very depleted at the linebacker position this week, as Tremaine Edmunds (groin) landed on IR on Saturday and Ruben Hyppolite (shoulder) and T.J. Edwards (hand) have both also been ruled out for the matchup versus Philadelphia.

  • Bears' Ruben Hyppolite: Ruled out for Friday

Hyppolite (shoulder) will be inactive for Friday's game against the Eagles.

The linebacker suffered the shoulder injury in the Bears' Week 12 win over the Steelers and missed practice Wednesday. Chicago is already banged up in its linebacker corps, with Tremaine Edmunds (groin) on injured reserve and T.J. Edwards (hand) and Noah Sewell (elbow) already ruled out for Friday as well. Carl Jones, D'Marco Jackson, Daniel Hardy and Amen Ogbongbemiga are Chicago's backup linebackers.

  • T.J. Edwards LB | CHI

Bears' T.J. Edwards: Remaining out Week 13

Edwards (hand) has been ruled out for Friday's matchup against Philadelphia.

Edwards suffered a hand injury in Week 9 against Cincinnati and hasn't been able to play since. He was deemed a DNP in all three practices this week (though two were walkthroughs), so it's not clear if he's anywhere close to returning. Fellow linebackers Ruben Hyppolite (shoulder) and Noah Sewell (elbow) have also been ruled out for Friday, and Tremaine Edmunds (groin) landed on IR on Saturday, so the Bears will be extremely thin at the position.

  • Daniel Jones QB | IND

Colts' Daniel Jones: Managing fracture in fibula, per report

Jones, who is dealing with a fracture in his fibula, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, will continue to try to play through the issue.

Per the report, Jones -- who was listed as limited in Wednesday's walkthrough -- was a full participant in Thursday's session, with one source saying the QB "looked good." Meanwhile, James Boyd of The Athletic previously noted during the practice that Jones "does not look as fluid as normal," with Rapoport's report adding notable context to that observation. In any case, the QB's status now will need to be monitored as Sunday's game against the Texans approaches.

  • Emanuel Wilson RB | SEA

Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Joined by Jacobs again in Week 13

Wilson is poised to take a step back in the Packers backfield for Thursday's game at Detroit with Josh Jacobs (knee) active, Mike Spofford of the team's official site reports.

Wilson was Green Bay's lead runner in this past Sunday's win against the Vikings, racking up 28 carries for 107 yards and two touchdowns and gathering in both targets for 18 yards. When Jacobs was active for the first 10 games of the season, even Week 11 at the Giants, when Jacobs made an early exit due to the knee injury, Wilson topped out at 11 touches (three times), 87 total yards and one TD in a given contest. Assuming Jacobs is good for his normal workload, Wilson likely will fall back to single-digit touch territory.
