Whittington caught his lone target for eight yards in the Rams' 27-7 loss to the 49ers in Week 1.

Whittington played 25 of 61 offensive snaps but saw his playing time elevated some late in the fourth quarter after the Rams pulled their starters. He also saw 13 snaps on special teams, returning four kicks for 94 yards. Whittington may need some injuries ahead of him to be a useful fantasy asset.

The Texans placed McDonald (ankle) on injured reserve Friday.

McDonald was limited in practice Wednesday and missed practice Thursday, suggesting he suffered the injury in practice this week. He'll now be required to miss at least the first four games of the season. Logan Hall, Mario Edwards and Jaden Crumedy will see the rotational snaps at defensive tackle behind Tommy Togiai and Sheldon Rankins.

Oweh (calf) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Eagles, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.

Oweh was a limited participant in practice throughout Week 1. Even though the linebacker was unable to log a full practice, he has been cleared of any injury designation. Oweh is set to start on the edge opposite K'Lavon Chaisson.

Thompson (hip) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Thompson practiced fully Friday after limited sessions Wednesday and Thursday. The fourth-round rookie wideout is expected to see some action on special teams as a returner and should slot in as the Chargers' fourth receiver behind Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston and Tre' Harris.

Tuipulotu (hip) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Tuipulotu was limited in practice all week, though it's unclear when he suffered the injury. Entering the final year of his rookie deal, the 24-year-old edge rusher was held out of camp early last month as he was seeking an extension. Tuipulotu piled up 13.0 sacks last regular season to lead the Chargers.

Williams (Achilles) is listed as out for Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Williams was limited at practice all week as he continues to recover from the torn Achilles he suffered late last season, and he'll have to wait at least one more week to make his 2026 debut. In his stead, Kei'Trel Clark could see a small uptick in snaps.

Chaisson (knee) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Eagles, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.

Chaisson was a limited participant in all three Week 1 practice sessions. Despite being unable to log a full practice, the linebacker has been cleared of any injury designation and is all set to suit up for Sunday's contest. Chaisson will be the starting edge alongside Odafe Oweh due to Dorance Armstrong's (suspension) absence.

Farrell secured both of his targets for 19 yards in the 49ers' 27-7 win over the Rams in Week 1.

With George Kittle still working his way into game shape off last season's torn Achilles and Jake Tonges going down with a knee injury in the second quarter, Farrell ended up playing 46 of 65 offensive snaps and ran 19 pass routes to Kittle's 17. With Tonges looking at an extended absence, Farrell is going to see more action as the TE2.

Taylor-Demerson (ribs) is listed as out for Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Taylor-Demerson missed practice Thursday and Friday after logging a limited session Wednesday, and he'll now have to spend Sunday on the sidelines. In his absence, 2025 seventh-rounder Kitan Crawford might get a couple more chances to rotate in on defense.

Payne (knee) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Eagles, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.

Payne was a limited participant in Thursday's session but is now all set for Sunday's game. The nose tackle has cleared himself of any issues and will start alongside Javon Kinlaw and Tim Settle as the Commanders open the campaign with a road clash against a divisional opponent.
