  • Jamaree Salyer OG | LAC

Chargers' Jamaree Salyer: Limited at practice Wednesday

Salyer (hamstring) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.

Salyer was sidelined for the last two games of the regular season after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 16 at Dallas, and he's still not at 100 percent as the Bolts' preparations for their wild-card matchup at New England begin. He'll probably have to participate in full at practice Thursday or Friday to avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend.

  • Josh Wallace CB | LAR

    Rams' Josh Wallace: Idle Wednesday

Wallace (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.

Wallace hasn't played since Week 16 against the Seahawks. With Quentin Lake back from injured reserve, Lake should step back into his role as the Rams' slot cornerback.

  • Rams' Jordan Whittington: Still sidelined Wednesday

Whittington (knee) remained sidelined at Wednesday's practice, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.

Whittington was injured in Sunday's win over the Cardinals. If he's unable to play Saturday against the Panthers, Xavier Smith and Tutu Atwell would be next up for wideout reps behind Puka Nacua and Davante Adams.

  • Panthers' Bobby Brown: Logs full practice Wednesday

Brown (concussion) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice

Brown entered the league's concussion protocol during the Panthers' Week 18 loss to the Buccaneers. His ability to practice in full is a good sign that he is progressing in his recovery, but Brown would not be allowed to play in Saturday's wild-card game against the Rams unless an independent neurologist were to clear him from the league's protocol. Thursday's injury report should provide clarity on Brown's chances of playing in the opening round of the NFC playoffs.

  • Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Remains DNP on Wednesday

Ferguson (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.

Ferguson was estimated as DNP on Tuesday and has one practice left this week to get back on the field after he was injured in Friday's practice last week. If Ferguson is unable to play, Tyler Higbee and Colby Parkinson would be in line to handle the vast majority of tight-end snaps Saturday against Carolina.

  • Elijah Molden CB | LAC

Chargers' Elijah Molden: Still tending to hamstring injury

Molden (hamstring) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.

Molden sat out the team's regular-season finale at Denver because of a lingering hamstring injury, and it's still bothering him as the Bolts begin preparing for their wild-card tilt at New England. Unless he upgrades to full participation Thursday or Friday, he'll be expected to carry an injury designation into the weekend.

  • Donte Jackson CB | LAC

Chargers' Donte Jackson: Still dealing with ankle issue

Jackson (ankle) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.

Jackson hurt his ankle in the Bolts' regular-season finale at Denver, and he's apparently still not back to full strength as the team begins its preparations for a wild-card matchup at New England. He'll likely need to manage a full practice Thursday or Friday to avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend.

  • Patriots' Jared Wilson: Limited Wednesday

Wilson (concussion) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

Wilson hasn't played since Week 16 against the Ravens and appears to still be in the concussion protocol. Ben Brown has been starting at left guard in the third-round rookie Wilson's absence.

  • Tyler Higbee TE | LAR

Rams' Tyler Higbee: Remains limited in practice

Higbee (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.

In his return from a six-game IR stint this past Sunday against the Cardinals, Higbee hauled in five of six targets for 91 yards and one touchdown on a 64 percent snap share, the latter of which ranked third among Rams tight ends behind Colby Parkinson (84 percent) and Davis Allen (71 percent). Higbee continues to deal with the ankle injury, but he at least maintained his activity level from Tuesday's walkthrough. Thursday's practice report will reveal whether or not he enters the weekend with a designation for Saturday's contest at Carolina.

  • Patriots' Harold Landry: Logs limited practice Wednesday

Landry (knee) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.

Landry missed New England's last two regular-season games due to a nagging knee injury, but his activity at practice Wednesday suggests there's a chance he'll return for the wild-card round versus the Chargers. Still, he'll probably have to practice in full Thursday or Friday to avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend.
