The defensive end leads the Ravens with seven quarterback hits, and his presence is a strong boost for the team's defense going into a key matchup.

Penix suffered a knee injury during Sunday's contest against the Panthers, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

Penix completed 13 of 16 passes for 175 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions while rushing one time for nine yards at the time he departed in the third quarter after getting twisted to the ground on an incompletion. Kirk Cousins will direct the Falcons offense for as long as Penix is sidelined.

Thrash had played in Cleveland's first nine games this season prior to Sunday. He's managed just 10 catches on 15 targets for 107 yards on the season, and he may now be the odd man out in the Browns' receiving corps. Cleveland has been getting healthy at the position with Cedric Tillman and Isaiah Bond recently returning from injuries.

Rush (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Browns but will serve as the Ravens' emergency third quarterback.

As the emergency third quarterback, Rush will see the field Sunday only if both Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley were to exit the game due to injury, illness or ejection.

Dean (hip) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's battle against the Bills, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Dean limped off the field with a hip injury in the first quarter and was ruled out early in the third period. He'll finish the week without any tackles. Rookie Benjamin Morrison has entered Sunday's contest in Dean's stead.
