Commanders coach Dan Quinn said Wednesday that Samuel (heel) is "trending right" for Monday's game against the Chiefs, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

Quinn said that Samuel and Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) are both expected to practice throughout Week 8 as Monday's road matchup at Kansas City approaches. Washington's first official practice report will be released Thursday, at which point Samuel is on track to be listed as at least a limited participant. He wasn't able to suit up Week 7 versus the Cowboys despite having played through his heel injury the prior two games. Meanwhile, the status of quarterback Jayden Daniels (hamstring) remains uncertain, meaning Marcus Mariota could step into the starting lineup versus the Chiefs.

Irving (foot/shoulder) is not participating in the early portion of Wednesday's practice open to the media, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The Buccaneers are holding a walkthrough practice Wednesday, but it doesn't appear Irving is yet ready to resume handling on-field reps. He's missed three consecutive games due to lingering foot and shoulder injuries and has been held out of practice throughout that span. If Irving can get back on the field as at least a limited participant ahead of Sunday's road matchup against the Saints he could have a chance at returning to action, but it's worth noting that Tampa Bay will benefit from a Week 9 bye, meaning the team could be motivated to allow the second-year running back to rest further.

Godwin (lower leg) is not participating in Wednesday's practice, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Godwin hasn't practiced since suffering a fibula injury Week 5 against the Buccaneers, and he's since missed back-to-back games. With the Buccaneers set to go on bye Week 9, the team could take a cautious approach to Godwin's health and hold him out again during Sunday's road matchup against the Saints. With Mike Evans (collarbone) expected to miss most of the season due to a broken collarbone suffered during Monday's 24-9 loss to the Lions, Godwin's long-term health has become an increasingly crucial factor for Tampa Bay.

Njoku (knee) is in line to return to practice Wednesday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

Njoku seems to have a fair chance at returning to action Sunday on the road against New England, after coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that he remains "day-to-day." The veteran tight end is recovering from a knee injury sustained Week 6, and he didn't practice at all prior to being ruled out for Week 7. As such, he might need to resume practicing in full before being cleared to return to the lineup.

Dissly failed to secure his lone target in Sunday's 38-24 loss to the Colts.

Dissly was unable to make an impact in Sunday's high-scoring affair against the Colts, as the veteran tight end played just three of the Chargers' 76 offensive snaps. The 29-year-old has taken a clear backseat to fellow tight end Oronde Gadsden, who finished the game with seven catches for a team-leading 164 yards and a touchdown. Dissly should be ignored for fantasy purposes based on his limited usage in the Chargers' passing attack. Next up for Los Angeles is a Week 8 matchup against the Vikings.

Harris caught both of his targets for 23 yards in Sunday's 38-24 loss to the Colts.

Harris played 33 of the Chargers' 76 offensive snaps Sunday, behind Quentin Johnston (68), Ladd McConkey (67) and Keenan Allen (49). The rookie second-round pick has now recorded just nine catches for 95 scoreless yards through his first seven games. Barring injuries, Harris will continue to face stiff competition for targets in the Chargers' crowded wide receiver room. The 23-year-old wideout is best left out of fantasy lineups when the Chargers host Vikings in Week 8.

Abdullah rushed twice for 19 yards and caught his lone target for eight yards in Sunday's 38-24 win over the Chargers.

Abdullah played just five of the Colts' 60 offensive snaps Sunday behind starter Jonathan Taylor (52) and ahead of rookie DJ Giddens (3). The veteran running back offers little fantasy value outside of an injury to Taylor, yet it's unclear if Abdullah's role would drastically increase as a 32-year-old in one of the league's most explosive offenses. With that said, Abdullah remains far off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 8 matchup against the Titans.

Mitchell finished Sunday's 28-22 win over the Vikings with four solo tackles.

Mitchell dealt with a hamstring injury during the week but was able to suit up and log all 69 of the Eagles' defensive snaps. He's posted 29 tackles and seven defensed passes through seven games this season.

DeJean totaled eight tackles (seven solo) and a defensed pass Sunday in a 28-22 win over Minnesota.

Of DeJean's eight stops, six came on defensive plays and two took place on special teams. The overall total ranked second on Philadelphia. DeJean has posted 46 tackles and six defensed passes through seven contests on the campaign.

Mukuba registered three tackles (one solo) and an interception Sunday in a 28-22 win against the Vikings.

Mukuba's biggest play was a second-quarter pickoff of Carson Wentz. The rookie safety logged every one of the Eagles' defensive snaps, as he's done in three of the past four games. On the campaign, Mukuba has tallied 35 tackles (including 0.5 sacks) and three defensed passes (including two interceptions).
