McGovern (leg) was cleared to participate in Tuesday's practice, John Hendrix of AthlonSports.com reports.

McGovern has been sidelined for the last few weeks by a right leg injury that he sustained in early August. He was cleared to return to practice Tuesday, an indication that he'll be available for the Bills' regular-season opener against the Texans on Sunday, Sept. 13.

Scott (knee) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

Scott suffered a knee injury in last Friday's preseason finale against the Jaguars. The rookie fourth-rounder has recovered from the issue and is all set to suit up for practice. Scott is set to be one of the primary backups for the Buccaneers' secondary throughout the 2026 regular season.

The Saints placed Styles (calf) on injured reserve Tuesday, John Hendrix of AthlonSports.com reports.

Styles picked up a calf injury during the Saints' preseason loss to the Rams on Aug. 22. The injury is severe enough for the rookie sixth-rounder to open the regular season on injured reserve, requiring him to miss at least four games unless he works out an injury settlement with the team. Styles' first opportunity to make his NFL regular-season debut is Week 5 against the Vikings on Sunday, Oct. 11.

Van Noy visited the Vikings on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of Netflix reports.

Van Noy indicated he wants to keep playing, though it's unknown if his recent stop in Minnesota will do anything to improve his chances of staying on the field. The 2014 No. 40 overall pick has appeared in 173 regular-season games throughout his career, totaling 561 tackles, 57.0 sacks, 14 forced fumbles, 10 fumble recoveries and four interceptions. However, Van Noy is coming off his worst season in years, finishing the 2025 campaign with just 20 total tackles and two sacks in 15 regular-season games.

The 49ers placed Hobbs (groin) on injured reserve Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Hobbs injured his groin during a joint practice with the Titans in mid-August, and it was reported at the time by Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area that the 2021 fifth-rounder would miss a few weeks. Hobbs will be required to miss at least four games unless he works out an injury settlement with the team. If it's the former, the earliest he can make his 2026 regular-season debut is Week 5 against the Seahawks on Sunday, Oct. 11. With Hobbs sidelined, Siran Neal and Jack Jones will serve as the 49ers' depth options at cornerback behind Renardo Green (hamstring) and Deommodore Lenoir.

The Panthers placed Christensen (hamstring) on injured reserve Tuesday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.

Christensen will be required to miss the first four games of the regular season on IR before becoming eligible to return to the Panthers' active roster, though it's possible he works out an injury settlement with the team between now and Week 5. Mike Kaye of ESPN.com reports that general manager Dan Morgan said he expects Christensen to return at some point during the regular season, but it remains unclear when that will be.

The Chargers placed Perryman (undisclosed) on injured reserve Tuesday.

It's not yet clear what type of issue Perryman is dealing with, but he'll need to sit out at least the first four games of the regular season, though it's possible he works out an injury settlement with the team between now and Week 5. The veteran linebacker started all 10 of the regular-season games in which he appeared and Los Angeles' sole postseason contest last year, and he has been slated for a big role again during the upcoming campaign. During Perryman's absence, Troy Dye is likely to step into a bigger role at linebacker.

Sims (undisclosed) reverted to the Dolphins' injured reserve Tuesday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Sims was waived/injured by Miami on Monday, and he shifted over to the team's IR after not being claimed. He'll be forced to miss at least the next four games, though it's possible that he reaches an injury settlement with the Dolphins between now and Week 5, allowing the Baylor product to sign and play with a team once fully healthy. Sims appeared in 11 regular-season games between the Packers (three games) and Vikings (eight games) in 2025, finishing with three catches (on six targets) for 30 yards.

The Bears placed Large (undisclosed) on injured reserve Tuesday.

Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports general manager Ryan Poles stated the Bears will "remain flexible" on both Large and safety Coby Bryant (knee) as they manage their injuries. Large must spend at least four regular-season games on IR before becoming eligible to return to the team's 53-man roster, though it's possible he works out an injury settlement with the team between now and Week 5. The status of the tight end's injury still remains unclear, so it is uncertain if he will need longer to recover.

The Browns placed Davis on injured reserve Tuesday due to a quadriceps injury.

Davis sustained the injury during a training camp practice in late July, forcing him to miss all three of the Browns' preseason games. By opening the regular season on IR, the fifth-year defensive tackle will be required to miss at least four games, so Week 5 against the Jets on Sunday, Oct. 11 is the earliest the Davis would see the field under the current designation, though it's possible he works out an injury settlement with the team between now and then. Adin Huntington and Mike Hall will serve as the Browns' rotational options at defensive tackle behind starters Mason Graham and Maliek Collins for as long as Davis is sidelined.
