The Patriots claimed Latu off waivers Monday.

The Eagles waived Latu on Sunday, but the tight end will not become a free agent. With Julian Hill (knee) done for the season, the Patriots needed additional depth at tight end behind Hunter Henry. The team released K.J. Britt in a corresponding move.

Dyson (undisclosed) reverted to the Vikings' injured-reserve list Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

The linebacker was waived with an injury designation earlier. Dyson will now need to reach an injury settlement with Minnesota to have a chance to play this season. The Bryant product last saw NFL regular-season action in 2024 with Carolina.

The Patriots released Britt on Monday.

Britt signed a one-year deal with the Patriots in March. The linebacker made the initial 53-man roster but will ultimately be released because the Patriots claimed tight end Cameron Latu off waivers from the Eagles. Britt is now a free agent and can sign with any franchise in need of additional depth at linebacker.

The Titans waived Diabate on Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Diabate signed with the Titans in March. The linebacker was projected to fill a depth role at linebacker but will now be subject to waivers. If Diabate goes unclaimed, he will become a free agent able to sign with any franchise that requires additional depth at linebacker.

Allen (undisclosed) reverted to the Vikings' injured-reserve list Monday, according to the NFL's official transaction log.

The cornerback was waived with an injury designation by Minnesota earlier in the day. Allen will now need to reach an injury settlement with the team to have a chance to play in 2026.

The Falcons waived Harrison (undisclosed) on Monday, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.

Harrison began camp on the active/NFI list but was activated in early August. He appeared in all three of Atlanta's preseason contests, so he appears to be past the issue that originally sidelined him. However, Harrison was cut Monday as part of a series of moves to clear the way for three players the Falcons added on waiver claims.

The Bengals released Hudson on Monday.

Hudson signed a one-year contract extension with the Bengals in January. The tight end played in 15 regular-season games for the team during 2025, producing 19 receptions for 168 yards and two touchdowns. The Bengals ultimately ended up keeping Mike Gesicki, Drew Sample, Erick All and Jack Endries at tight end. Hudson is now a free agent and can sign with any franchise's 53-man roster or practice squad.

New Orleans waived Welch on Monday.

Welch initially made the Saints' 53-man roster, but he and wideout Kevin Austin were cut Monday to make room for a pair of waiver claims. Welch appeared in three games for New Orleans last season and didn't get any targets or touches. He's likely to end up on the team's practice squad if he clears waivers.

Sims (undisclosed) was waived/injured by the Dolphins on Monday.

The tight end will revert to injured reserve unless he's claimed by another team. If he does move to IR, he would need to reach an injury settlement with the Dolphins to have a chance to play in 2026. Sims appeared in 11 regular-season games for the Vikings and Packers a year ago, catching three passes for 30 yards.

New Orleans waived Austin on Monday.

Austin suited up for exactly eight games in each of the past two seasons and compiled 24 catches for 291 yards and one touchdown over that span. He initially made the Saints' 53-man roster but was then cut Monday to make room for players awarded to the team on waivers. Austin is a prime candidate to serve on New Orleans' practice squad if he clears waivers.
