Patrick was released by the Giants on Sunday, according to the NFL's official transaction log.

The offensive guard appears to be healthy again after dealing with a knee injury during training camp. The veteran has made 68 starts between the regular season and postseason across a nine-year career with the Packers, Bears, Saints and Bengals, and he's therefore a very good candidate to offer experienced offensive-line depth to a team in need of such.

The Raiders cut Johnson on Sunday.

Johnson suffered a shoulder injury during the Raiders' preseason game against the Texans on Aug. 12. The linebacker was cut without an injury designation, meaning he has moved past the injury and will be free to sign with any franchise immediately.

The 49ers cut Jones (calf) on Sunday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Jones was dealing with a calf injury toward the tail end of training camp, which prevented him from playing in the 49ers' preseason finale against the Raiders on Thursday. Jones will explore his next options now that he's a free agent, and it's possible that he remains in San Francisco as a member of the team's practice squad.

Jacksonville waived Kiser (knee) on Sunday, John Oehser of the team's official site reports.

Kiser was selected by the Jaguars in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft and played in 14 regular-season games as a rookie, working primarily on special teams. He wasn't able to make Jacksonville's 53-man roster but cleared waivers and subsequently signed to the Jags' practice squad.

The Chiefs waived Smith on Sunday.

Smith exited the Chiefs' preseason game against the Buccaneers on Aug. 22 with a hamstring injury. The linebacker has since recovered, as he was waived by the team without an injury designation. If Smith clears waivers, he will become a free agent able to sign with any franchise.

The Eagles waived Ojukwu (pectoral) on Sunday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Ojukwu was dealing with a pectoral injury during training camp but was cleared to start at left tackle in the Eagles' preseason finale against the Bengals on Friday. Ojukwu could stay in Philadelphia on the practice squad if he clears waivers or explore his options elsewhere. He started in nine of 16 regular-season games through the first three years of his NFL career.

Wright was waived from the exempt/left-squad list by the Bengals on Sunday.

The cornerback, who signed with Cincinnati as an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska, is leaving football to pursue acting, according to J.J. Post of ESPN. Wright played LeBron James' son in "Space Jam: A New Legacy" in 2021 and has seven film and television credits to his name.

The Titans placed James (undisclosed) on injured reserve Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

James was operating as a depth option at center for the Titans before he sustained an undisclosed injury. The offensive lineman will now spend the entirety of the 2026 regular season on IR unless he is waived with an injury settlement.

The Saints waived Simpkins (concussion) on Sunday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Simpkins had been in concussion protocol in mid-August and was eventually cleared. He wasn't able to make New Orleans' 53-man roster but signed with Carolina's practice squad Monday, according to Joe Person of The Athletic.

The Titans placed Kpassagnon (undisclosed) on injured reserve Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Kpassagnon is suffering from an unknown issue. The defensive end will now spend the entirety of the 2026 regular season on injured reserve unless he is waived with an injury settlement.
