Charles (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve by the Seahawks on Sunday with a designation to return, John Boyle of the team's official website reports.

Charles was traded to Seattle in late May, and he suffered an undisclosed injury at some point during the preseason. The wide receiver will now be sidelined for at least four contests to open the regular season, and the earliest he'd be able to return to action is Week 5 against the 49ers on Oct. 11.

Mitchell (undisclosed) is not practicing Monday but is working off to the side with a trainer, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.

Mitchell is missing his fourth straight practice due to an unspecified injury, but it sounds like he's getting closer to a return to the field after getting in some work on a side field. Chargers GM Joe Hortiz added that he anticipates Mitchell playing Week 1 against the Cardinals. The Chargers are expected to utilize all three of Omarion Hampton, Mitchell and Kimani Vidal out of the backfield this season, though Hampton is the clear lead back and possesses the most upside from a fantasy perspective. Mitchell, when healthy, likely will handle a handful of weekly touches to showcase his speed and playmaking while giving Hampton a breather. Mitchell is looking like a fantasy bench stash to open the 2026 season.

Kohou was cut by the Chiefs on Sunday.

Kahou missed the entire 2025 season due to a torn ACL but was fully healthy for training camp with the Chiefs. He logged three solo tackles across two preseason games, but he did not make the cut for Kansas City's 53-man roster for the regular season. Kohou has been a starter on defense in 38 of 47 career regular-season games and will have the opportunity to join a team in need of depth in the secondary.

Wade (undisclosed) was waived by the Ravens on Sunday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Wade was dealing with an undisclosed injury at training camp, but he was able to play in all three of the Ravens' preseason games, reeling in six of seven targets for 54 yards. The wide receiver will now look for another opportunity elsewhere in 2026.

Robinson (calf) signed a one-year, $4 million contract with the Texans on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Robinson was released by the Texans on Sunday, per Wilson, but the 2022 fifth-rounder is back with the team on a one-year deal. Robinson appeared in 12 regular-season games for the Bears in 2025, finishing with 19 tackles (12 solo), including 1.5 sacks. His presence gives the Texans additional depth at defensive end behind Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter.

Mariota (knee) returned to practice Monday, JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington reports.

Mariota missed the last two weeks of the preseason after suffering a sprained MCL in his right knee in the team's 20-7 preseason win over the Dolphins on Aug. 14. The veteran QB will look to increase his workload at practice in the coming days in preparation to serve as the the Commanders' top reserve option behind Jayden Daniels again in 2026.

The Steelers waived Smith (undisclosed) on Sunday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.

Smith recovered from an undisclosed injury to play in the Steelers' preseason finale against the Bills on Thursday, when he caught two passes on three targets for four yards. The Iowa product didn't crack the Steelers' 53-man roster, though he could stay in Pittsburgh as a member of the practice squad if he goes unclaimed off waivers. Smith played 21 snaps (eight on offense, 13 on special teams) across two regular-season games for the Jets in 2025.

The Jets waived Camper (head) on Sunday, Eric Allen and Amanda Vogt of the team's official site report.

The Jets signed Camper to the 90-man practice squad July 31, with the Boise State product accruing four catches (on seven targets) for 63 yards while adding one tackle across three preseason games. Camper won't be on the Jets' 53-man roster for the regular season, but he was signed to New York's practice squad Monday.

Sanders was released by the Jets on Monday, Tom Pelissero of Netflix reports.

Sanders appeared likely to operate as New York's starting kicker in 2026 after the team let Cade York go Tuesday, but after the team added Blake Grupe on Monday, Sanders will hit the open market. The kicker made two of three field-goal attempts and went 2-for-3 on PATs during the preseason, and he now will look for another opportunity elsewhere.

Croskey-Merritt (lower body) is expected to return to practice next week, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.

Croskey-Merritt was forced to miss the Commanders' final two preseason games due to a lower-body injury, and he won't practice Monday. His participation level once he gets back on the field should offer more clarity on his readiness for the regular-season opener Sunday, Sept. 13 against the Eagles. In the meantime, Kaytron Allen is the Commanders' top healthy option in the backfield with Rachaad White (hamstring) also banged up at the moment.
