  • Zach Sieler DE | MIA

Dolphins' Zach Sieler: Production dips in 2025

Sieler made 47 tackles (29 solo), including 5.5 sacks, across 17 regular-season games in 2025. He also had one pass defensed and one fumble recovery.

Sieler played two more games in 2025 than he did in 2024, but he nonetheless finished with just more than half the 10.0 sack total he had managed in each of Miami's prior seasons. The 30-year-old defensive tackle is under contract with the Dolphins through 2029, but the team will have a potential "out" in his contract after the 2026 campaign, making it potentially crucial for Sieler to bounce back to his usual production level next season.

  • Bradley Chubb OLB | BUF

Dolphins' Bradley Chubb: Wraps 2025 season with 8.5 sacks

Chubb tallied 47 tackles (24 solo), including 8.5 sacks, across 17 regular-season appearances in 2025. He also had two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

Chubb saw his production totals decline compared to last season, despite the fact that he played one more game in 2025. Across 16 regular-season appearances in 2024, he managed 73 tackles (45 solo), including 11.0 sacks, plus two passes defensed, six forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Chubb will look to rebound in 2026, when he will play out the final season of his contract with the Dolphins.

  • Jack Jones CB | SF

Dolphins' Jack Jones: Caps career year with four stops

Jones made four tackles (two solo) during Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Patriots.

Jones compiled a career-high 77 tackles (49 solo) across 17 regular-season appearances in 2025, plus six passes defensed, including one interception, and two forced fumbles. He's slated to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but given the tremendous amount of question marks looming for the Dolphins' cornerback corps, both sides could have mutual interest in a reunion.

  • Tyrel Dodson LB | MIA

Dolphins' Tyrel Dodson: Surpassed 100 tackles in 2025

Dodson tallied 129 tackles (72 solo), including 5.0 sacks, across 16 regular-season appearances in 2025. He also had three passes defensed, including one interception, plus one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

Dodson managed the first 100-tackle season of his NFL career while joining Jordyn Brooks as the only every-down starter in Miami's linebacker corps. He's slated to play out the final year of his contract with the Dolphins in 2026. Dodson will be a solid bet to reach the 100-tackle threshold again in 2026 as long as the offseason additions Miami brings to the linebacker corps don't threaten to infringe on his starting role.

  • Jordyn Brooks LB | MIA

Dolphins' Jordyn Brooks: Leads league in tackles

Brooks racked up a league-leading 183 tackles (99 solo), including 3.5 sacks, across 17 regular-season appearances in 2025. He also had three passes defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

Brooks led the league in terms of total tackles in 2025 but fell one short of the career-high mark he notched back in 2021, while a member of the Seahawks. The 28-year-old linebacker, who is now heading into the final season of his contract with the Dolphins, has solidified himself as a premier run defender and high-end fantasy asset in IDP formats.

  • Dolphins' Riley Patterson: Perfect in Week 18 loss

Patterson converted his only field-goal attempt and his only extra-point try during Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Patriots.

Patterson ultimately started all 17 regular-season games for Miami with Jason Sanders (hip) never gaining clearance to return from IR. In that span, Patterson converted 27 of 29 field-goal attempts and 34 of 35 extra-point tries, operating as one of the league's most accurate kickers. Patterson is slated to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason while Sanders remains under contract with the Dolphins. With that, Patterson may need to compete for a starting gig elsewhere in the league for the 2026 season.

  • Dolphins' Nick Westbrook-Ikhine: Invisible in Week 18 loss

Westbrook-Ikhine was not targeted in Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Patriots.

Westbrook-Ikhine joined forces with the Dolphins via a two-year, $6.5 million contract back in March, a deal that will go under the radar as one of the worst signings of the 2025 offseason. Across 15 regular-season appearances, Westbrook-Ikhine secured just 10 of 20 targets for 89 scoreless yards, a notable downturn after he had surpassed 350 receiving yards in four prior seasons with the Titans, including a 32-497-9 receiving line in 2024. The Dolphins have an "out" in Westbrook-Ikhine's contract this offseason for only $1.6 million in dead cap.

  • Dolphins' Tahj Washington: Makes two grabs in season finale

Washington secured two of three targets for 26 yards during Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Patriots.

Washington logged six regular-season appearances in 2025, in which span he secured three of five targets for 37 yards and fumbled once. The 2024 seventh-round pick saw the most playing time of his NFL career (20 offensive snaps) during Sunday's season finale against New England. Washington will enter the offseason competing to retain a depth role in the Dolphins' wide receiver corps.

  • Kirk Cousins QB | LV

Falcons' Kirk Cousins: Reworks contract with Atlanta

Cousins agreed Tuesday to restructure the final two seasons of his four-year, $180 million contract, Field Yates of ESPN.com reports.

As part of the restructure, Cousins agreed to reduce his base salary for the 2026 season from a non-guaranteed $35 million to $2.1 million, but the amended deal doesn't necessarily mean that the veteran quarterback will stick around with Atlanta through the upcoming season. Cousins is still guaranteed $67.9 million for the 2027 season, with that money scheduled to vest March 13, the third day of the new league year. Given that Atlanta would have no interest in being tied to Cousins at that amount of money in 2027, the 37-year-old signal-caller may have to agree to another restructure in order to avoid being designated for a post-June 1 release. After opening the 2025 season in a backup role, Cousins reclaimed the starting job for the Falcons' final seven games after Michael Penix (knee) tore his ACL in Week 11. In his 10 total appearances, Cousins completed 166 of 269 pass attempts (61.7 percent) for 1,721 yards, 10 touchdowns and five interceptions while tacking on a rushing touchdown.

  • Tua Tagovailoa QB | ATL

Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa: Future in Miami uncertain

Tagovailoa said Monday, in the wake of Miami's season finale loss to the Patriots, that it "would be dope" to get a fresh start with another team during the 2026 season, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN reports.

Tagovailoa didn't go as far as stating that he plans to request a trade, but he said he "would be good with it" if he were to play elsewhere in 2026. Head coach Mike McDaniel said the Dolphins will host a quarterback competition in 2026 and left the door open for rookie Quinn Ewers (knee) to start, but he declined to comment on Tagovailoa being benched in Week 16. Across 14 regular-season appearances, Tagovailoa completed 260 of 384 pass attempts for 2,660 yards, 20 touchdowns and 15 interceptions, while adding 43 yards on 20 carries and fumbling eight times. He led the NFL in INTs at the time of his benching. After having inked him to a four-year, $212.4 million contract in July of 2024, Miami would face a $99.2 million cap hit in 2026 by cutting Tagovailoa before June 1, while releasing him after that date would spread the cap hit across the next two seasons. Given Tagovailoa's salary, finding a trade partner for the 27-year-old signal-caller will be a difficult task.
