Russell caught both of his targets for 20 yards and notched one tackle on special teams during Wednesday's 13-10 win over the Patriots.
Russell was on the field for 17 of Seattle's 50 offensive snaps as well as for 20 special-teams snaps. The two receptions were the first two catches (and touches) of his NFL career. Russell played a career-high 58 regular-season offensive snaps over 17 games last year, and Wednesday's workload suggests he may continue to increase his involvement in 2026, though he's not likely to be a desirable fantasy option given his role.

Seahawks' Brady Russell: Staying in Seattle
Russell is slated to re-sign with the Seahawks on a two-year deal, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The 27-year-old from Colorado is now in line to remain in Seattle after spending the first three seasons of his NFL career with the team. Russell was a key special-teamer during the Seahawks' 2025 campaign, recording 14 total tackles and one fumble recovery across 454 total snaps (396 on special teams, 58 on offense). He's expected to operate in a similar role ahead of the 2026 season.

Russell underwent hand surgery the day after Seattle's 31-27 NFC Championship win over the Rams, Brady Henderson of ESPN reports.
Russell managed to play through his injury during the Seahawks' Super Bowl win over the Patriots, when he led the team in special-teams snaps. The 27-year-old will have the offseason to get back to full health before the start of the 2026 campaign.

Russell played all 19 of his snaps on special teams in Sunday's 27-10 win over the Panthers.
For the second week in a row, the Seahawks kept two fullbacks active in Russell and Robbie Ouzts, but only the latter player saw action on offense (14 snaps). Russell has suited up for all 16 of the Seahawks' games to date but hasn't logged a carry or target while playing 54 total snaps on offense. He's been a core member of Seattle's special-teams units, where he's tallied 14 tackles (10 solo).
