Uiagalelei was waived by the Chargers on Sunday, Tom Pelissero of Netflix reports.

Despite a relatively productive collegiate career, Uiagalelei went undrafted in 2025 before spending time on the Chargers' practice squad as a rookie. He most recently appeared in three preseason games in 2026, throwing for 341 yards and two touchdowns while completing just 57.1 percent of his passing attempts. If Uiagalelei clears waivers, he could be brought back to the practice squad.

The Broncos waived Krull on Sunday, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.

Krull spent the majority of the 2025 season on injured reserve with a foot issue. The tight end participated in all three preseason games for the Broncos, catching one of his two targets for four yards. Krull will now be subject to waivers, and if he clears will become a free agent able to sign with any organization.

Joly was cut by the Broncos on Sunday, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.coms reports.

Joly was the No. 152 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The 22-year-old began his collegiate career at Connecticut before spending his final two seasons at NC State, where he most recently amassed 49 catches for 489 yards and seven touchdowns. Joly could draw interest from more than a few NFL teams, though it may come as a member of a practice squad.

Jones was released by the Texans on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Jones signed with Houston on Aug. 21 after completing a tryout with the team. The wide receiver caught one of three targets for six yards in the Texans' 16-13 loss to the Panthers in their preseason finale. Jones caught 12 of 18 targets for 183 yards over eight regular-season contests with Arizona in 2025 before ending the season on injured reserve with an Achilles tear that he suffered in Week 10. Now fully healthy, Jones will likely get another shot with a new squad in 2026.

The Lions are releasing Dortch, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

When Dortch linked up with Detroit in the offseason, his best path to playing time, or even a roster spot, was his ability as a returner, as the Lions offense runs primarily through its big four of RB Jahmyr Gibbs, WRs Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams and TE Sam LaPorta (hip). After the exhibition slate concluded, though, the team has opted to move on from Dortch. Aa a vested veteran, he'll be able to sign with another team immediately.

The Titans waived Wilson on Sunday, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports.

Wilson participated in all three preseason games for the Titans, catching four of his five targets for 18 net yards. The tight end had an unfortunate showing in Saturday's preseason finale, catching just one ball and losing four yards after the catch for a two-yard loss. The 26-year-old will now be placed on waivers. If Wilson goes unclaimed, he will become a free agent able to sign with any team.

The Browns waived Booth on Sunday, James Palmer of The Athletic reports.

Booth signed with Cleveland as an undrafted free agent back in May but was unable to earn a depth role. He will now look for another opportunity with a new team and make his regular-season debut during the upcoming campaign.

The Browns placed Royer (personal) on the reserve/non-football illness list Sunday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Royer has been designated to return to the team but will be required to miss at least the first four weeks of the regular season. The rookie fifth-rounder missed the entirety of the preseason due to a personal issue. It remains unclear when the tight end will be ready to return to football.

Shepard was released by the Texans on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Shepard signed with Houston on Aug. 21 after trying out with the team, but he will now hit the open market again ahead of the 2026 campaign. The 33-year-old had a productive season with the Buccaneers in 2025, securing 39 of 53 targets for 371 yards and a touchdown over 13 regular-season contests while operating in a depth role. The wideout will likely find another suitor, but he hasn't exceeded 400 receiving yards in a season since 2020, making him an unappealing fantasy option.

The Cardinals waived Slovis on Sunday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Slovis was competing for a depth spot behind Jacoby Brissett but lost out to Gardner Minshew and Carson Beck (ribs). Slovis spent time on both Arizona's practice squad and active roster, completing one of his two pass attempts across two appearances.
