The Colts waived Bentley on Sunday, Ian Rapoport of ESPN and NFL Network reports.

Bentley was competing for a depth role behind Jonathan Taylor but was unable to earn a spot on the roster. The 2025 undrafted free agent spent the majority of last season on Indianapolis' practice squad, appearing in just one game and logging a lone rush attempt for no gain. Bentley could be brought back to the team's practice squad should he go unclaimed on waivers.

Davis remains as the top reserve running back in Dallas behind starter Javonte Williams following the reported cuts of Jaydon Blue and Phil Mafah, Patrik Walker of the Cowboys' official site reports.

In two appearances during exhibition season, Davis churned out 68 yards on 12 carries, which was good for 5.7 YPC. Both his play in the preseason and work on the practice field had made him the favorite for the Cowboys' direct backup role, and he'll now look to build upon a 2025 campaign in which he recorded 52 rushes for 250 yards (4.8 YPC) and two TDs in 10 regular-season games.

The Bengals waived Jones on Sunday, Ian Rapoport of ESPN and NFL Network reports.

Jones was competing to serve as the team's primary return specialist but ended up losing out on the role. The 2023 fourth-round pick failed to haul in his only target across 14 games with Cincinnati last season but managed to amass 1,084 kick-return yards and returned one kickoff for a touchdown. He will now look to catch on with another team.

Blue is being waived by the Cowboys, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Dallas reportedly has moved on from two RBs on cut-down day, the other being Phil Mafah. The moves indicate that Malik Davis has claimed the No. 2 role behind starter Javonte Williams, though one or both of Blue and Mafah could wind up back on the team's practice squad if they clear waivers.

With both Josh Jacobs (groin) landing on the Commissioner's Exempt List and Kaleb Johnson being acquired by the Packers on Sunday, Lloyd now finds himself in a reconfigured Packers backfield.

Lloyd has appeared in just one regular-season game since being selected by the Packers in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft, but with Jacobs out of action for the time being Lloyd is now the top available option on the depth chart. Both Johnson and Chris Brooks -- who excels at pass blocking -- figure to factor into the mix sans Jacobs, but with Johnson just joining the team, Lloyd now finds himself as the favorite to pick up carries.

The Chargers waived Bradley on Sunday, Tom Pelissero of Netflix reports.

Bradley was competing for a depth role after joining the team as an undrafted free agent but was ultimately unable to earn a roster spot. The 22-year-old will now look to catch on with another team.

Richardson was waived by the Bears on Sunday, Tom Pelissero of Netflix reports.

The wide receiver signed with the Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2025, got waived late in training camp, joined the practice squad for the regular season and dressed for one regular-season game. Richardson might end up on the practice squad again after falling short of the 53-man roster on a team with several options for depth receiver spots.

The Chiefs waived Watson on Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Watson was competing for a depth role behind Travis Kelce but wasn't impressive enough to earn a roster spot. The 23-year-old spent last season on Kansas City's practice squad and could be brought back once again if he clears waivers.

The Colts cut Stick on Sunday, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Stick joined the team in June but didn't stand out enough to earn a roster spot. The 30-year-old spent the 2025 campaign with the Falcons but didn't appear in any games and will now look for a new opportunity with another team.

Thomas was released by the Vikings on Sunday, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.

The cornerback saw action on 370 special-teams snaps a year ago, making 19 of his 23 tackles on the third unit, and then signed a two-year, $4.6-million extension in March. Thomas only found himself on the outside looking in during training camp after undrafted rookie safety Jacob Thomas (ankle) played well, convincing the team to place the emphasis on safeties over corners in final cutdowns. Thomas has played on more than 100 special-teams snaps in all eight of his NFL seasons, and he should be able to find another home in the league for the 2026 campaign.
