Josh Metellus SAF | MIN
Vikings' Josh Metellus: Managing foot issue
Metellus was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to a foot injury.
Metellus logged 79 percent of Minnesota's defensive snaps and snagged his first interception of the season in this past Sunday's blowout win over Cincinnati, but he appears to have also picked up a foot injury. The veteran safety's ability to practice in a limited fashion Wednesday is a promising sign that he may not be dealing with a serious issue, but Metellus might not be fully cleared heading into the weekend unless he's able to practice in full either Thursday or Friday.

Cam Hart CB | LAC
Chargers' Cam Hart: Looking good for Sunday
Hart (hip) was a full participant at practice Wednesday.
Hart was forced to miss Sunday's game versus the Broncos due to a nagging hip issue, but it now seems like he's back to full strength ahead of a Sunday matchup against the Giants. He figures to settle back in as one of the Chargers' top three cornerbacks in Week 4.

John FitzPatrick TE | GB
Packers' John FitzPatrick: Limited at practice
FitzPatrick (groin) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice.
FitzPatrick reeled in two passes for 12 yards and a touchdown in the team's 13-10 loss to the Browns in Week 3, but he may have suffered a groin injury in the game. The tight end's ability to practice in any capacity Wednesday is a positive sign, and he'll have two more chances to practice in full ahead of Sunday night's contest in Dallas.

Derius Davis WR | LAC
Chargers' Derius Davis: Opens week with DNP
Davis (knee) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.
Davis injured his knee during the first half of Sunday's 23-20 win over the Broncos. He was able to return for the the second half (and proceeded to fumble on his kickoff return early in the third quarter), but the injury has lingered into the week. Davis will have two more opportunities to practice in at least a limited capacity heading into Sunday's contest against the Giants.
-
Micah Parsons LB | GB
Packers' Micah Parsons: Limited to open week
Parsons (back) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.
Parsons recorded two solo tackles in the team's 13-10 loss to the Browns in Week 3, and he may have exacerbated his previous back injury in the contest. The defensive lineman will have two more opportunities to log a full practice prior to Sunday night's matchup with the Cowboys.
-
Kenny Clark NT | DAL
Cowboys' Kenny Clark: Logs full practice Wednesday
Clark (ankle) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Clark did not return to Sunday's 31-14 loss to the Bears after suffering an ankle injury in the second half, finishing with one assisted tackle while playing 34 defensive snaps. However, Clark's absence from Wednesday's practice report indicates that the 2016 first-rounder will play in Sunday's contest against the Packers, who traded him to the Cowboys along with two first-round picks in exchange for Micah Parsons in late August.
-
Trey Palmer WR | NO
Saints' Trey Palmer: Manages limited practice Wednesday
Palmer (hamstring) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.
Palmer sat out the latter two of the Saints' three practices last week before spending Sunday's game at Seattle on the sideline, so his participation Wednesday was a step in the right direction. If he can practice in full Thursday or Friday, there's a good chance he'd be able to make his 2025 debut at Buffalo.

DeForest Buckner DT | SF
Colts' DeForest Buckner: Dealing with back issue
Buckner did not practice Wednesday due to a back injury.
Buckner previously managed a back issue in late August that caused him to miss multiple practices, though it's unclear if his current injury is related. The veteran defensive lineman logged a season-low 51 percent of Indianapolis' defensive snaps Week 3 versus Tennessee, but it's not certain that his back was the reason for the reduced snap share. Regardless, Buckner will likely need to practice in some capacity this week in order to suit up against the Rams on Sunday.
-
DaRon Bland CB | DAL
Cowboys' DaRon Bland: Opens week with limited practice
Bland (foot) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
A foot injury has prevented Bland from playing in the Cowboys' last two games, but Todd Archer of ESPN.com relayed Tuesday that the 2022 fifth-rounder is trending toward a Week 4 return against the Packers. Bland will have two more opportunities to upgrade to a full practice participant heading into Sunday's tilt.
-
Trikweze Bridges DB | DAL
Cowboys' Trikweze Bridges: Nursing knee injury
Bridges (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
The rookie seventh-rounder likely picked up the injury during the Cowboys' 31-14 loss to the Bears on Sunday, and he'll have two more chances to increase his practice participation ahead of Dallas' Week 4 home clash against Green Bay. Bridges' availability would be crucial for the Cowboys if Trevon Diggs (knee) is unable to play Sunday, as the former would likely start opposite Kaiir Elam at outside corner.
