  • Trey Benson RB | ARI

Cardinals' Trey Benson: Set for increased workload

Benson will take on a larger workload following news that James Conner is set for season-ending foot surgery, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Conner was carted off the field Sunday in San Francisco after sustaining what initially was called an ankle injury, but coach Jonathan Gannon confirmed Monday that the issue is with the veteran running back's right foot. In Conner's stead, Benson will get the first chance to lead the Cardinals backfield as he looks to build upon the 29 touches for 170 yards from scrimmage and no touchdowns that he's accumulated through the first three games of the season. Aside from Benson, a 2024 third-round pick, Arizona's healthy RBs on the active roster are Emari Demercado and Bam Knight, while Michael Carter resides on the practice squad.

  • Cardinals' Akeem Davis-Gaither: Appears on injury report

Davis-Gaither (elbow) was estimated as a limited practice participant Monday, Zach Gershman of the Cardinals' official site reports

Davis-Gaither played a season-high 79 percent of defensive snaps in Week 3, his highest mark of the campaign. It's unclear when he suffered the injury, though it's positive that he was still estimated to practice in any capacity. Arizona has a quick turnaround for a divisional showdown against Seattle in Week 4 on Thursday.

  • Zaire Franklin OLB | GB

Colts' Zaire Franklin: Co-leads team in stops Week 3

Franklin racked up seven tackles (four solo) and defensed a pass Sunday in a 41-20 win against Tennessee.

Franklin and Nick Cross tied for the team lead with seven stops apiece Sunday. Franklin finished with a season-high mark in tackles, though the seven stops would have tied his second-lowest tally in any game last year. The expectations are high for Franklin after he led the NFL with 173 tackles last season, so from a fantasy perspective, his 16 stops through three games is a bit of a letdown.

  • Daiyan Henley LB | LAC

Chargers' Daiyan Henley: Just four tackles against Denver

Henley logged four tackles (two solo) during the Chargers' 23-20 win over the Broncos on Sunday.

Sunday marked just the fifth time since the start of the 2024 season that Henley has logged five tackles or less in a regular-season game, though he still finished tied for second on the Chargers behind Derwin James (12). Henley has played every single defensive snap this season, and despite the dip in tackling production Sunday, the 2023 third-rounder is on pace to crack 100-plus tackles for a second consecutive season.

  • Seahawks' Devon Witherspoon: Limited on practice report

Witherspoon (knee) was listed as a limited practice participant on Monday's estimated practice report, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Witherspoon has missed the Seahawks' last two games due to an MCL injury that he suffered against the 49ers in Week 1. He'll have two more practices this week to increase his participation and give himself a chance to return against the Cardinals on Thursday.

  • Julian Love SAF | SEA

Seahawks' Julian Love: Estimated as limited

Love (hamstring) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's estimated practice report, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Love was unable to play in the Seahawks' 44-13 win over the Saints due to a hamstring injury. His practice participation over the next two days will indicate his chances of suiting up against the Cardinals on Thursday. Ty Okada would be in line to start at safety for a second straight game if Love is not cleared to play.

  • Jets' Jamien Sherwood: Prolific again in Week 3

Sherwood finished with 11 tackles (five solo) Sunday in a loss to Tampa Bay.

Sherwood led New York in tackles and racked up double-digit stops for the second straight week. He had a relatively quiet Week 1 with six tackles but has combined for 24 stops over his subsequent two contests. Sherwood is a rock solid IDP asset given his high floor, especially after breaking through with a career-high 158 tackles last season.

  • Seahawks' Leonard Williams: Considered limited Monday

Williams (elbow) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's estimated injury report, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Williams recorded four total tackles (two solo), including 0.5 sacks, in Sunday's 44-13 win over the Saints, but he may have left the game a little worse for wear. The defensive lineman will have two more chances to log a full practice before Thursday's contest against the Cardinals.

  • Elijah Arroyo TE | SEA

Seahawks' Elijah Arroyo: Working through groin injury

Arroyo was listed as a limited participant in Monday's estimated practice report due to a groin injury, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

The rookie second-rounder played 30 snaps (28 on offense, two on special teams) and failed to haul in his lone target during the Seahawks' 44-13 win over the Saints on Sunday. Arroyo appears to have come out of that contest worse for wear with a groin injury, and his practice participation over the next two days will determine his status heading into Thursday's NFC West clash against the Cardinals in Arizona. Eric Saubert and Nick Kallerup would be in line for more snaps at tight end behind AJ Barner if Arroyo is not cleared to play.

  • Nick Emmanwori SAF | SEA

Seahawks' Nick Emmanwori: Considered limited Monday

Emmanwori (ankle) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's estimated injury report, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Emmanwori has been sidelined for the team's last two contests while nursing an ankle injury, and he will have two more chances to log a full practice before Thursday's matchup with the Cardinals. If he's unable to go again in Week 4, D'Anthony Bell and Ty Okada would likely see an increase in workload again.
