  • D.J. Reed CB | DET

Lions' D.J. Reed: Limited in practice

Reed (knee) was limited in Thursday's practice, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.

This is the first mention of a knee issue for Reed this season. The veteran cornerback played 88 percent of the defensive snaps in Sunday's blowout win over the Bears, logging five tackles (all solo) in the 52-21 victory.

  • Brock Purdy QB | SF

49ers' Brock Purdy: May be 'game-time' decision

Purdy said after Thursday's practice that his turf toe variant is a day-to-day concern, and he's "gotta see at game time how I feel" Sunday against the Cardinals, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

Per David Lombardi of SFStandard.com, Purdy was able to throw among other activity for a second consecutive session Thursday, potentially paving the way for him to miss just one game as a result of the toe injury. Purdy's activity level will be revealed on the 49ers' second Week 3 practice report, but if he goes down as a limited participant again, he'll have one more chance to put himself in a position to be available this weekend. Mac Jones is in line to start Sunday if Purdy cannot.

  • Jaylen Waddle WR | DEN

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Active versus Bills

Waddle (shoulder) is listed as active for Thursday night's game against the Bills.

Waddle was on the field for 82 percent of the Dolphins' snaps on offense in Sunday's 33-27 loss to the Patriots, a game in which he caught five of six targets for 68 yards and a TD. He wasn't listed on Monday's practice estimate, but he then was deemed a limited participant in Tuesday's session, as well as on Wednesday's estimated injury report. With the Thursday availability of Waddle (who had been officially listed as questionable) confirmed, assuming no limitations or setbacks he'll be in a position to maintain his key role in Miami's passing offense opposite fellow starting WR Tyreek Hill, with Malik Washington, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Dee Eskridge also in the mix.

  • Trey Palmer WR | NO

Saints' Trey Palmer: Downgraded to DNP

Palmer (hamstring) did not practice Thursday.

It's a downgrade for Palmer after he was limited in Wednesday's practice, and it would seem to indicate he was injured during the day's session. Palmer was a healthy inactive each of the Saints' first two contests.

  • Lions' Marcus Davenport: Officially DNP with chest injury

Davenport (chest) did not practice Thursday.

Davenport was injured in Sunday's win over the Bears. Coach Dan Campbell said the Lions won't know Davenport's availability for Monday night's game against the Ravens until later this week. Davenport has recorded five tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sacks, on 56 defensive snaps this season.

  • Kerby Joseph SAF | DET

Lions' Kerby Joseph: Limited on Thursday

Joseph (knee) was limited in Thursday's practice.

Joseph was also listed as questionable ahead of Week 2 with the knee issue. However, the veteran played through it and logged three tackles (two solo) and one interception on 71 percent of the defensive snaps Sunday against the Bears.

  • Jack Campbell LB | DET

Lions' Jack Campbell: DNP with ankle injury

Campbell (ankle) did not practice Thursday.

Campbell missed practice last Wednesday but was upgraded to full the following day, so he could be on that same schedule ahead of Monday night's game against the Ravens. The third-year linebacker played 88 percent of the defensive snaps Sunday against the Bears and finished with eight tackles (four solo) and one fumble recovery.

  • Tucker Kraft TE | GB

Packers' Tucker Kraft: Avoids serious injury

Kraft is believed to have only suffered a minor left knee tweak at Thursday's practice, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Kraft sustained a left knee injury at practice Thursday but further evaluations didn't reveal a serious issue, a major relief for Green Bay's offense. Fantasy managers will now need to monitor the standout tight end's participation level at Friday's practice closely, however, with his status for Sunday's road game against the Browns potentially uncertain. Through two regular-season games, Kraft leads all Packers pass-catchers in terms of receptions (eight), targets (11), receiving yards (140) and touchdowns (two).

  • Evan Engram TE | DEN

Broncos' Evan Engram: Misses another practice

Engram (back) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Engram also missed Wednesday's session, which puts the focus firmly on what -- if anything -- the tight end is able to do Friday at practice. If Engram is limited or out versus the Chargers on Sunday, Adam Trautman would be next in line for added Week 3 opportunities, with Nate Adkins and Lucas Krull also available to mix in.

  • Will Dissly TE | LAC

Chargers' Will Dissly: Sits out practice again

Dissly (knee) did not practice Wednesday.

Dissly has now missed back-to-back practices due to a knee injury and appears to be trending in the wrong direction for Sunday's matchup against the Broncos. If Dissly isn't able to suit up Week 3, Tyler Conklin will be positioned to handle a larger workload at tight end.
