  • Laiatu Latu DE | IND

Colts' Laiatu Latu: Back to full practice

Latu (hamstring) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.

Latu missed last Sunday's win over the Broncos with the hamstring issue, but it appears he's on track to return for Week 3 against the Titans. The No. 15 overall pick in the 2024 Draft, Latu recorded one tackle (one solo) and one interception in the Colts' Week 1 win over the Dolphins.

  • Tre'von Moehrig SAF | CAR

Panthers' Tre'von Moehrig: Misses practice Thursday

Moehrig (illness) did not practice Thursday.

Moehrig wasn't on the injury report Wednesday, so this is a new issue for the safety, who will have another three days to shake off his illness ahead of Sunday's game against the Falcons. Moehrig has started each of the Panthers' first two games this season, recording 20 tackles (14 solo) on 100 percent of the defensive snaps.

  • Xavier Legette WR | CAR

    Panthers' Xavier Legette: Limited Thursday

Legette (hamstring) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.

Legette has now logged back-to-back limited practice sessions due to a hamstring injury, meaning Friday will be his final opportunity to upgrade to full reps ahead of Sunday's home matchup against the Falcons. Through two regular-season appearances thus far, Legette has managed just four catches for eight yards despite having drawn 15 targets.

  • Jahdae Walker WR | CHI

Bears' Jahdae Walker: Practices fully Thursday

Walker (ankle) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.

Walker played 11 snaps on special teams in Week 1 but missed last Sunday's loss to the Lions with the ankle injury. He'll resume his special-teams and depth wideout role in Week 3 against the Cowboys.

  • D'Andre Swift RB | CHI

Bears' D'Andre Swift: Limited in practice again

Swift (quadriceps) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.

Swift appaers to have picked up a quad injury during Chicago's loss to the Lions in Week 2, and he's since put together back-to-back limited practice sessions. If he's unable to upgrade to full reps Friday, it sounds as though Swift will carry a "questionable" designation into Sunday's home game against the Cowboys. Through two appearances this season, Swift has compiled 116 rushing yards on 29 carries (4.0 YPC) and one touchdown while also securing six of eight targets for 18 yards and losing one fumble.

  • Cedrick Wilson: Cut from practice squad

The Saints released Wilson from the practice squad Thursday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

The 29-year-old Wilson was apart of New Orleans' final cuts this summer and signed back with the practice squad ahead of Week 1. He's yet to play in a regular-season game this season.

  • Hunter Dekkers: Back on practice squad

The Saints signed Dekkers to the practice squad Thursday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Dekkers was just cut from the practice squad Wednesday. The undrafted rookie has been bouncing on and off the practice squad through the first three weeks of the season.

  • Chargers' Tony Jefferson: Signed to active roster

The Chargers signed Jefferson off the practice squad Thursday.

Jefferson was elevated ahead of Week 2 and actually started Monday night's game against the Raiders, recording five tackles (three solo) and two pass breakups, including one interception, in the Chargers' 20-9 victory.

  • Steelers' Max Scharping: Suffers torn ACL

Scharping suffered a torn ACL in practice Wednesday and will miss the remainder of the season, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The veteran offensive lineman had yet to play in a game this season, but his loss is a blow to Pittsburgh's depth on the offensive line.

  • Lions' Marcus Davenport: Will not practice Thursday

Coach Dan Campbell said Davenport (chest/shoulder) will not practice Thursday, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.

Davenport was injured in last Sunday's win over the Bears. Campbell said he won't know Davenport's status for Monday night's game against the Ravens until later this week. Al-Quadin Muhammad and Tyler Lacy are candidates for increased playing time if Davenport is unable to play against Baltimore.
