Carter (hand) did not participate in Monday's practice, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Coach John Harbaugh does not seem overly concerned about the star strong-side linebacker's injury, meaning Carter will likely be back to practice shortly. Carter has already sustained two injuries throughout the 2026 offseason, having just recovered from an ankle issue Thursday. The team will likely be cautious with Carter's recovery, but at present, his Week 1 availability doesn't appear to be in any jeopardy.

Coach DeMeco Ryans said Monday that Jordan (knee) is day-to-day, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

There doesn't seem to be reason to believe it's a severe injury at this point, but it brings Jordan's availability for Thursday's preseason game versus the Chargers into question. Until he's back, rookie second-rounder Marlin Klein could see an uptick in reps.

The Bears signed McCloud to a contract Monday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.

With Luther Burden (groin) and Zavion Thomas (knee) both sidelined, McCloud was signed as an additional depth piece at wide receiver. Wide receiver Kyron Hudson (undisclosed) was waived/injured in a corresponding move. McCloud will likely have to beat out fellow veteran Scotty Miller for the No. 6 receiver role in order to garner a spot on the 53-man roster.

White was listed as the Commanders' No. 2 running back on the team's unofficial depth chart Monday, Zach Selby of the team's official site reports.

White joined Washington in the offseason, inking a one-year deal with the team in March. Head coach Dan Quinn named White as a standout performer from OTAs and minicamp, but at this point, second-year pro Jacory Croskey-Merritt appears to have the edge as the No. 1 option in the backfield heading into the 2026 campaign. White was able to turn 132 carries into 572 yards and four touchdowns while also adding 40 catches and 218 yards over 17 regular-season contests with the Buccaneers in 2025, marking the third time in his four-year career that he was active for the entire regular season.

The Dolphins waived Hankerson on Monday.

The Dolphins signed Hankerson back in May after he went undrafted out of Oregon State, but he's now on track to become a free agent again unless he's picked up by another team during the current waiver period. His departure could open up more practice opportunities for Donovan Edwards and Carlos Washington.

Bobo (hamstring) was a full participant in Monday's practice, Corbin K. Smith of SI.com reports.

Bobo missed two weeks with a hamstring issue but is now back in action. The wide receiver's return means Emmanuel Henderson and Cody White will likely be fighting for the final 53-man roster spot, assuming the Seahawks once again keep six wide receivers. Bobo should slot right back into his roles as a key special-teamer and depth option for the offense.

Hyatt appeared to injure his right ankle at the end of Monday's practice, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Hyatt had a strong minicamp with the Giants and is making a push to once again be a consistent piece of the team's wide receiving corps. The 24-year-old played snaps in just eight regular-season contests in 2025, and an ankle injury would not help his chances of returning to the Giants' 53-man roster.

Hall is expected to be featured more prominently as the Jets' lead back this season, Connor Hughes of SNY.TV reports.

Hall signed a three-year, $45.75 million contract with the Jets in May, and it now appears as if the 25-year-old's offensive snap share will go up in his fifth campaign with the team. The running back's usage peaked at a 67.5 percent offensive snap share in 2024 before dropping down to 61.1 percent in 2025. With the heightened expectations for Hall, Braelon Allen is set to operate as a clear No. 2 option while Isaiah Davis will play third fiddle in the backfield this year.

Klubnik was named the No. 2 quarterback on the Jets' first unofficial depth chart of training camp, Eric Allen of the team's official site reports.

The fourth-round rookie out of Clemson seems to have the lead in the No. 2 quarterback competition with Bailey Zappe and Brady Cook. Klubnik completed 65.6 percent of his pass attempts for 2,943 yards and a 16:6 TD:INT as a senior for Clemson. As of now, it looks like Klubnik has a good chance of seeing the most snaps among the team's quarterbacks in Friday's preseason opener against the Buccaneers.

Bullard suffered a bone bruise to his right foot during Sunday's training camp practice, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.

Bullard told reporters that there was some swelling, but his MRI came back clean, and he anticipates being ready for Week 1 at Minnesota. As long as he's available, he figures to play a significant role in the Packers' secondary in 2026.
