  • Steelers' Calvin Austin: Questionable due to hamstring

Austin (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Lions, Burt Lauten of the Steelers' official site reports.

Austin exited the game in the fourth quarter after sustaining the injury. The wide receiver caught his sole target for an eight-yard gain before his exit.

  • Cam Ward QB | TEN

Titans' Cam Ward: Tosses two TDs in rare home win

Ward completed 21 of 28 passes for 228 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 26-9 win over Kansas City. he added nine rushing yards on four carries.

The rookie QB tossed multiple scores for the third straight game, finding Chig Okonkwo for a seven-yard TD in the second quarter and Chimere Dike for a one-yard touchdown in the third. More importantly, Ward led the Titans to their first win at home since Week 9 of last season. With a 6:1 TD:INT over the last three games -- equaling his touchdown total from the prior 10 games combined -- Ward appears to be taking a big step forward in his development heading into a Week 17 clash with the Saints.

  • Saints' Kevin Austin: Snags two passes Week 16

Austin posted two receptions (on three targets) for 18 yards during Sunday's 29-6 win over the Jets.

Austin served as the Saints' No. 3 wideout after being signed to the active roster Thursday. The second-year undrafted receiver was added for depth after Devaughn Vele (shoulder) was placed on IR. While Dante Pettis was considered questionable to play with an illness, Pettis ended up playing. However, he logged just one target. Meanwhile, the Saints were led in targets by WR1 Chris Olave (16), TE1 Juwan Johnson (nine), Taysom Hill (six) and Mason Tipton (five). Austin will likely serve as the Saints' WR3/WR4 over the final two weeks of the regular season, but his production should be pretty limited.

  • JJ Pegues DT | LV

Raiders' JJ Pegues: Questionable to return

Pegues (hand) is questionable to return to Sunday's matchup versus Houston.

Pegues' status for the remainder of the game is now up in the air after he sustained a hand injury in the second half. If the 24-year-old is unable to return, Thomas Booker will be left as the team's only remaining backup defensive tackle.

  • Jaguars' Greg Newsome: Questionable to return

Newsome (shoulder) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Broncos, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports.

Newsome exited in the early fourth quarter with a shoulder injury after making a tackle on RJ Harvey. If the cornerback is unable to return, Christian Braswell will likely finish out the game at outside corner.

  • Travis Kelce TE | KC

Chiefs' Travis Kelce: Misses Mahomes in Week 16 loss

Kelce caught one of four targets for six yards in Sunday's 26-9 loss to the Titans.

With Patrick Mahomes (knee) lost for the season and Gardner Minshew (knee) not even making it to halftime before going down as well, Kelce was left with third-string QB Chris Oladokun under center, and the duo showed very little chemistry en route to the veteran tight end's worst numbers of 2025. Minshew may have suffered a torn ACL, so a week of first-team reps together could improve that connection, but Kelce -- along with the rest of the Kansas City passing attack -- will be a very shaky fantasy option in Week 17 against the Broncos.

  • Jets' John Metchie: One catch in Week 16

Metchie caught one of five targets for four yards in Sunday's 29-6 loss to the Saints.

Metchie's streak of consecutive games with at least four catches ended at four. It's tough to trust any member of the Jets' passing offense with undrafted rookie Brady Cook under center, but Metchie would gain a bit more appeal if Gang Green turns back to Tyrod Taylor or Justin Fields (knee) under center in Week 17 against the Patriots. Metchie caught a touchdown pass from Fields in Week 11 against the Patriots.

  • Isaiah Davis RB | NYJ

Jets' Isaiah Davis: Turns seven touches into 60 yards

Davis rushed three times for eight yards and caught all four of his targets for 52 yards in Sunday's 29-6 loss to the Saints.

After finishing as the Jets' leading rusher in the Week 15 loss to Jacksonville, Davis led the team in receiving yards against the Saints. The backup running back has recorded some promising performances down the stretch, but Davis remains behind Breece Hall in the backfield pecking order heading into a Week 17 home game against the Patriots. Hall had 63 scrimmage yards on 18 touches in Sunday's loss.

  • Budda Baker S | ARI

Cardinals' Budda Baker: Cleared to return

Baker (concussion) has been cleared to return to Sunday's matchup versus the Falcons, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN reports.

Baker has returned to the game after briefly exiting in order to be evaluated for a concussion. The 29-year-old should continue to serve as the team's top option at free safety.

  • Jets' Adonai Mitchell: Three catches in Week 16 defeat

Mitchell caught three of six targets for 43 yards in Sunday's 29-6 loss to the Saints.

Mitchell finished second on the team in receiving yards behind backup running back Isaiah Davis' 52. This was the sixth time in as many games with the Jets that Mitchell has drawn at least six targets. Whether the Jets start undrafted rookie Brady Cook at quarterback for a third consecutive game or turn back to one of Tyrod Taylor or Justin Fields (knee), Mitchell should continue to function as the team's top downfield target in Week 17 against the Patriots.
