Burden sustained the injury after colliding awkwardly with Tyrique Stevenson during a one-on-one drill in Saturday's practice. Burden went with a trainer to the team's facilities to undergo further tests to determine the severity of the injury. The 2025 second-rounder has been a standout in offseason programs and training camp and is lined up for an expanded role in his sophomore campaign following the departure of DJ Moore, who was traded by the Bears to the Bills in early March.

Downs did not participate in Saturday's training camp practice due to a groin injury, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.

It's unclear when Downs picked up the injury or the severity of the issue, but his status will be worth monitoring over the coming week ahead of Thursday's preseason opener against the Patriots. The Giants waived/injured Bernard-Converse (knee) on Friday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.

Bernard-Converse has not participated in recent training camp practices while tending to a knee issue. He would revert to the Giants' injured reserve if he isn't claimed off waivers by another team, which would force Bernard-Converse to sit out for the entire 2026 season unless an injury settlement is reached with New York.

The Broncos waived Robinson (undisclosed) with an injury designation Friday, per the NFL's transaction report.

If Robinson clears waivers, then he would revert to the Broncos' injured reserve and be required to miss the entire 2026 season unless an injury settlement is reached with Denver. He has yet to appear in a regular-season game since signing with the Broncos in May of 2025 as an undrafted free agent.
