  • Amik Robertson CB | WAS

Lions' Amik Robertson: Dealing with hand injury

Lions head coach Dan Campbell said Monday that Robertson is nursing a hand injury, Colton Pouncy of The Athletic reports.

Campbell said he's hopeful that Robertson will be able to suit up Sunday against the Steelers, but that the team won't know more about his tentative status until returning to practice. Robertson had played 90-plus defensive snaps in nine straight games prior to injuring his hand Week 15 versus the Rams, so if he manages to gain clearance and suit up versus Pittsburgh, he'll figure to handle his usual every-down role.

  • Will Howard QB | PIT

Steelers' Will Howard: Emergency QB3 for Week 15

Howard (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as the Steelers' emergency third quarterback Monday against the Dolphins, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

Howard will be the Steelers' emergency QB3 for a third consecutive week, which means he is prohibited from playing Monday unless both Aaron Rodgers and Mason Rudolph were to be taken out of the game due to injury, illness or ejection.

  • Ke'Shawn Williams: Cut by Pittsburgh

The Steelers waived Williams on Monday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.

Williams was cut to make room for veteran wideout Marquez Valdes-Scantling on the 53-man roster. Across eight regular-season appearances with the Steelers this year, Williams had compiled 425 yards as a kick returner and 112 yards fielding punts. He'll be a candidate to resurface on the team's practice squad.

  • Roman Wilson WR | PIT

Steelers' Roman Wilson: Healthy inactive for Week 15

Wilson (coach's decision) is inactive for Monday night's game against the Dolphins, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

Wilson will be a healthy scratch for a second consecutive game, coinciding with the addition of veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen to the active roster. Wilson's next chance to play is Sunday against the Lions, but the second-year pro is unlikely to play in that contest unless the Steelers suffer an injury to their wide receiver corps.

  • Larry Borom G | DET

Dolphins' Larry Borom: Inactive for Monday's game

Borom (illness) is inactive for Monday's contest against the Steelers.

Borom was added to Monday's injury report and initially listed as questionable to face Pittsburgh. His absence leaves the Dolphins' offensive line lacking for depth, and positions Kendall Lamm as the teams top reserve option at offensive tackle behind starters Patrick Paul and Austin Jackson.

  • Jaylen Warren RB | PIT

Steelers' Jaylen Warren: Suiting up Monday

Warren (illness) is listed as active Monday against the Dolphins, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

Pittsburgh added Warren to its injury report Monday as questionable for Week 15 action due to an illness, but it won't stop him from being available to the team's ground game. He's received double-digit touches in every contest this season en route to averaging 15.8 touches for 77.4 yards from scrimmage per game while scoring six total TDs in 12 appearances. Having said that, if Warren isn't 100 percent healthy, he could cede some of those reps to Kenneth Gainwell and even Kaleb Johnson.

  • Dolphins' Elijah Campbell: Unavailable to face Steelers

Campbell (ankle/knee) is inactive for Monday's game against Pittsburgh.

Campbell will miss at least one game due to the ankle and knee injuries he suffered Week 14 against the Jets. In his last four appearances, Campbell contributed solely on special teams. His next chance to play will come Week 16 against Cincinnati.

  • Quinn Ewers QB | MIA

Dolphins' Quinn Ewers: Remains emergency No. 3 QB

Ewers (coach's decision) is inactive for Monday's game against the Steelers but will serve as the Dolphins' emergency third quarterback.

Ewers will handle his usual role as Miami's emergency third-string quarterback, meaning he will only be eligible to take the field Monday if both Tua Tagovailoa and Zach Wilson are forced out of the game. The only snaps Ewers has taken during the regular season thus far came Week 7 against the Browns.

  • Bills' Jordan Phillips: Already ruled out for Week 16

Head coach Sean McDermott said that Phillips won't play Sunday against the Browns due to an ankle injury he suffered in the team's Week 15 win over the Patriots, Alec White of the Bills' official site reports.

Phillips was hurt in the first half of Sunday's win, during which he took nine defensive snaps but didn't record any counting statistics. While the veteran defensive tackle is more of a rotational player at this stage of his career, it's yet another hit for a defensive line that is already without Ed Oliver (biceps), Michael Hoecht (Achilles), DeWayne Carter (Achilles) and Landon Jackson (knee).

  • Bears' Tremaine Edmunds: Practice window opens

The Bears announced Monday that Edmunds (groin) has been designated for return from IR.

Edmunds has missed exactly four games due to his groin injury, and it appears he could be a candidate to return to the lineup as early as Saturday's divisional matchup against the Packers. Once fully cleared, Edmunds will figure to return to his integral every-down role on defense for Chicago. The Bears can activate him from IR at any point within his 21-day practice window.
