    Cushenberry (foot) is active for Sunday's game against San Francisco.

    Cushenberry will return to action after missing Tennessee's past two contests. He should retake his role as the Titans' starting center.

    Cardinals' Bam Knight: Won't return Sunday

    Knight (ankle) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game versus the Texans.

    Knight logged just one carry for minus-2 yards before exiting and being carted to he locker room in the first quarter. The 24-year-old has been serving as the Cardinals' top running back due to James Conner (foot) and Trey Benson (knee) both being out for the season. Over the last eight games prior to Week 15, Knight recorded 77 rushes for 260 yards and three touchdowns to go along with 21 catches (on 30 targets). His next opportunity to take the field will come Week 16 versus the Falcons on Sunday, Dec. 21. In Knight's absence, Emari Demercado and Michael Carter will carry the load at running back.

    Commanders' Colson Yankoff: Leaves game with ankle injury

    Yankoff (ankle) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Giants.

    Yankoff appeared to sustain the injury early in the second half, and he's being evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return to Sunday's game. Ben Sinnott should see a slight uptick in offensive snaps for as long as Yankoff is out of the game.

    49ers' Jordan James: Remaining healthy scratch Week 15

    James (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against Tennessee.

    James has yet to make his NFL debut and has consistently been a healthy scratch on game days. The rookie fifth-rounder is firmly behind all of Christian McCaffrey, Brian Robinson and Isaac Guerendo on the 49ers' RB depth chart.

  • Jets' Isaiah Oliver: Exits game with knee injury

    Oliver (knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

    Oliver is having his knee evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return to Sunday's game. With Tony Adams (groin) also questionable to return, Dean Clark is poised for more snaps at safety alongside Malachi Moore.

    Colts' Brett Rypien: Inactive in Week 15

    Rypien (coach's decision) is inactive as the Colts' emergency No. 3 quarterback for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.

    Though he began Week 15 prep as the only healthy quarterback in the Colts organization and was officially signed off the practice squad Wednesday, Rypien will be available only in an emergency Sunday. With Daniel Jones (Achilles) out for the season and Anthony Richardson (orbital) stuck on injured reserve, the Colts lured Philip Rivers out of retirement and are expected to have the 44-year-old start Sunday in what will be his first NFL appearance since the 2020 postseason. Riley Leonard, who was slowed by a low-grade knee sprain to begin the week, will be active as Rivers' backup.

  • 49ers' Christian McCaffrey: Active versus Titans

    McCaffrey (back) is active for Sunday's game against the Titans.

    After an illness impacted his practice participation Wednesday and Thursday, McCaffrey worked fully Friday and initially approached Sunday's contest minus a designation. However, on Saturday the running back was added the 49ers' Week 15 injury report due to a back issue. With his availability versus Tennessee confirmed, McCaffrey is back on track to pace his team's backfield in the absence of any in-game setbacks. Next up for San Franciso's backfield touches if McCaffrey is hampered at all would be Brian Robinson and Isaac Guerendo.

    Jets' Tony Adams: Questionable to return Sunday

    Adams (groin) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

    Adams didn't play in Week 14 against the Dolphins due to a groin injury, and it appears he may have aggravated the injury during Sunday's game. Dean Clark is in line for more defensive snaps at safety for as long as Adams is out of the game.

    Cardinals' Cody Simon: Unable to continue Sunday

    Simon (knee) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's matchup against the Texans, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official sitereports.

    Simon exited the game in the first quarter of Sunday's Week 15 game with a knee injury and, after further evaluation, has been ruled out for the second half against the Texans. The 23-year-old has 46 tackles (19 solo) and one pass breakup in 12 games this season. Channing Tindall will get more reps with Simon out.

    Bengals' Charlie Jones: Won't return to Week 15 game

    Jones (ankle) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against Baltimore.

    Jones was injured near the end of the second quarter and was deemed questionable after spending time in the medical tent. He was then ruled out after halftime. Jones didn't get any targets on offense, returned one kickoff for 20 yards and returned one punt for minus-two yards. It remains to be seen who the Bengals will turn to on punt returns moving forward, but Tahj Brooks figures to take over on kick returns.
