  • 49ers' Christian McCaffrey: Expected to play vs. Tennessee

Although he was added to the 49ers' injury report Saturday, McCaffrey (back) is expected to play against the Titans on Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

McCaffrey popped up on Saturday's injury report due to a back issue, but at this time, the injury isn't considered severe enough for him to miss Sunday's contest. If McCaffrey suffers a setback or operates on a snap count, then Brian Robinson, Isaac Guerendo and Jordan James would be in line for more work out of the 49ers' backfield. McCaffrey's official status may not be announced until the 49ers submit their list of inactive players approximately 90 minutes before the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • PJ Jules SAF | CIN

Bengals' PJ Jules: Doubtful vs. Ravens

Jules (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against Baltimore.

Jules is still battling the ankle injury he sustained during the Week 14 loss to the Bills. Daijahn Anthony and Tycen Anderson could be in line for increased usage if Jules ends up being unable to play in Sunday's matchup.

  • Raiders' Shedrick Jackson: Elevated for Sunday

Las Vegas elevated Jackson from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game against Philadelphia.

Jackson was elevated for the second week in a row after playing four snaps during last week's loss to the Broncos. He'll once again serve as the Raiders' fifth wide receiver behind Tre Tucker, Jack Bech, Tyler Lockett and Dont'e Thornton. This was also the third time that Jackson was called up from the practice squad, marking the final time that he was eligible to he elevated this season. He'll now have to be signed to the active roster to play any further games for the Raiders this year.

  • Patriots' Terrell Jennings: Officially placed on IR

The Patriots placed Jennings (concussion) on injured reserve Saturday.

As expected, Jennings will go on injured reserve due to a concussion, and with just four games left in the regular season, he won't be eligible to play for the Patriots until the postseason. D'Ernest Johnson was signed off the practice squad to New England's active roster in a corresponding move, and he'll serve as the team's RB3 behind TreVeyon Henderson and Rhamondre Stevenson to close out the regular season.

  • Ty Chandler RB | NO

Vikings' Ty Chandler: Won't play Sunday

Chandler (knee) was ruled out Saturday for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

Chandler has been sidelined since Week 1 while dealing with a knee injury, and he was designated to return from IR on Dec. 3. The 27-year-old was a full participant during practice this week, but he'll remain out for at least one more game. Chandler will have to be restored to the active roster by Dec. 24, or else he'll revert to IR for the remainder of the season. His next opportunity to play will be the Week 16 contest versus the Giants on Sunday, Dec. 21.

  • Chargers' Dalevon Campbell: Elevated for Week 15

Campbell was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game versus the Chiefs.

Campbell was also elevated to the active roster ahead of the Week 14 win versus Philadelphia on Monday Night Football. But, he wound up being ruled a healthy scratch for the contest. Backup wideout Derius Davis (ankle) has already been ruled out, and starter Quentin Johnston (groin) is questionable. It's likely that Campbell will only be active if Johnston ends up being ruled inactive 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1:00 pm ET kickoff.

  • Eric Saubert TE | SEA

Seahawks' Eric Saubert: Inks new deal

The Seahawks signed Saubert (calf) to a one-year contract extension Saturday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.

Saubert joined Seattle on a one-year contract in March after spending the previous campaign with the division-rival 49ers. The veteran tight end has never figured into a significant role as a pass catcher during his 10-year career, and he's now on his ninth team in Seattle. He's been well regarded for his value as a blocker, and that's been the basis of his role with the Seahawks, as he's tallyed just one catch over seven appearances this season. Saubert has been dealing with a calf injury that's kept him on IR over the last six games, and he was designated to return to practice Wednesday.

  • 49ers' Christian McCaffrey: Now questionable for Week 15

McCaffrey has been added to the 49ers' injury report due to a back injury, and he is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

McCaffrey was able to shake off an illness during Week 15 prep, but the veteran running back appears to be working through a new back issue. The injury puts McCaffrey in jeopardy of missing Sunday's game, and his official status may not be known until the 49ers announce their list of inactive players approximately 90 minutes before the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. If McCaffrey is unable to play, then Brian Robinson would likely take over as the 49ers' lead back while Isaac Guerendo and Jordan James provide backfield depth.

  • Trevon Diggs CB | GB

Cowboys' Trevon Diggs: Officially out Week 15

Diggs (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Vikings.

Diggs will miss his eighth game in a row with a knee injury. He'll have one more week to be activated from injured reserve before he's forced to miss the remainder of the season. With Diggs still sidelined, rookie Shavon Revel should continue to start opposite DaRon Bland.

  • Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Dealing with another injury

Lloyd, who was already dealing with a calf issue, sustained a hamstring injury in practice leading up to Sunday's matchup against the Broncos, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Lloyd didn't practice Friday after picking up this hamstring injury and has already been ruled out for the Week 15 contest. He has one week remaining to be activated to the Packers' active roster before reverting to injured reserve for the remainder of the season, leaving his availability for the rest of the year in doubt. Lloyd, a 2024 third-round pick from USC, has played in just one game since entering the league due to a variety of injury problems. While he remains sidelined Sunday, Chris Brooks and Pierre Strong are the only running backs on Green Bay's active roster without an injury designation.
