Lane left the Ravens' Week 1 win at Indianapolis with a wrist injury that eventually was confirmed to include a fracture. With his move to IR, he'll be required to miss at least the next four games, meaning his next chance for game action will come Oct. 18 at Cleveland. As long as Lane is sidelined, Zay Flowers (hamstring), Rashod Bateman, Devontez Walker (groin), Elijah Sarratt and LaJohntay Wester will be among those that could see additional action at wide receiver for Baltimore.

According to Mink, Lane is making highlight-reel catches on what feels like a daily basis, and even Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com said Saturday that in his 27 years of covering the team, Lane has had the best rookie training camp he's ever seen. While Lane is doing it all on the practice field, he'll need to replicate it during preseason action if he's going to keep surging for a role in three-wide sets alongside Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman.
