  • Mitch Trubisky QB | BUF

Bills' Mitchell Trubisky: Leads backups to victory in Week 18

Trubisky completed 22 of 29 passes for 259 yards and four touchdowns during Sunday's 35-8 win over the Jets. He also rushed five times for five yards.

He took over after Josh Allen was under center for the first snap to keep his streak of 135 consecutive starts intact. Trubisky led Buffalo's offense effortlessly against an outmatched New York defense, turning in one of the best statistical performances of his nine-year NFL career. He'll revert to a backup role beginning with Sunday's wild-card round matchup against the Jaguars. Trubisky concludes the regular season having completed 25 of 35 pass attempts for 313 yards and four touchdowns, while rushing nine times for six yards, over four appearances.

  • Javon Bullard SAF | GB

Packers' Javon Bullard: Listed as limited

Bullard (knee) was listed as a limited participant during Tuesday's walkthrough practice, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Bullard suffered a knee injury during Green Bay's loss to the Vikings in Week 18, making his status uncertain for Saturday's wild-card round matchup on the road against Chicago. He'll have two more chances to prove himself capable of handling full practice reps prior to Saturday's game.

  • Nick McCloud CB | CHI

Bears' Nick McCloud: Estimated a full participant

McCloud (illness) was a full participant in Tuesday's walkthrough.

McCloud missed Chicago's final two games of the regular season due to an illness, but it looks like he's fully on track to return for Saturday's wild-card round matchup against the Packers. Expect McCloud to handle a rotational role on defense as the primary backup at slot cornerback behind C.J. Gardner-Johnson (concussion).

  • Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Limited Tuesday

Wicks (concussion) was estimated as a limited participant for Tuesday's walkthrough practice, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Wicks suffered a concussion in the Packers' Week 17 loss to Baltimore and was inactive for Sunday's 16-3 loss to the Vikings in the regular-season finale. Prior to Tuesday's session, head coach Matt LaFleur told Ryan Wood of USA Today that Wicks remains in concussion protocol, but the wideout's ability to practice in some fashion represents progress. Wicks will have two more chances to upgrade to full activity as he aims to clear the five-step protocol ahead of Saturday's wild-card game against the Bears.

  • Chiefs' Harrison Butker: Clean day to cap off 2025

Butker went 4-for-4 on field-goal attempts during Sunday's 14-12 loss against the Raiders.

Butker boasted a healthy 87 percent conversion rate (33-for-38) on field goals in 2025, continuing a stretch of converting 84-plus percent in every season but one since joining the NFL back in 2017. He did struggle a bit more than usual on extra-point attempts, knocking home 31 of his 35 tries, but he was solid overall once again. Despite some issues offensively for the Chiefs this season, Butker's field-goal attempts matched the second-most of his career in 2019, likely due to the fact that there were just 35 extra-point attempts with fewer touchdowns scored. Butker remains under contract with the Chiefs for two more seasons and seems likely to retain his duties as Kansas City's placekicker in 2026.

  • Brandon Johnson: Placed on injured list

The Eagles placed Johnson (ankle) on the practice squad injured list Tuesday.

Johnson suffered an ankle issue during Philadelphia's regular-season finale against Washington in Week 18. His placement on the practice squad/injured list rules him out for the remainder of the 2025 campaign. Across three regular-season appearances in 2025, Johnson made three tackles (one solo) and logged one pass defensed.

  • DJ Moore WR | CHI

Bears' DJ Moore: Limited Tuesday with knee issue

Moore was listed as a limited participant in Tuesday's walkthrough practice due to a knee injury.

The knee issue is a new concern for Moore, whose most recent appearance on a Bears injury report came back in Week 17, when he was battling an illness. After putting in a limited session Tuesday, Moore will have two more chances at practice to clear up any concern about his availability for Saturday's wild-card game versus the Packers. Moore suited up for all 17 of the Bears' games during the regular season, accounting for seven total touchdowns (six receiving, one rushing) while producing 682 yards on 50 catches and 79 yards on 15 rushing attempts.

  • Buccaneers' Garrett Greene: Signs future contract with Bucs

Tampa Bay signed Greene to a reserve/future contract Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Greene spent the 2025 regular season on the Buccaneers' practice squad. Though he was never elevated to make his regular-season debut, Greene will now get a chance to stick around in Tampa Bay and continue his development this offseason.

  • Cowboys' Traeshon Holden: Stays with Dallas

The Cowboys signed Holden to a reserve/future contract Tuesday.

Holden went undrafted out of Oregon last April and signed with Dallas. He was cut following the preseason but spent the regular season on the team's practice squad. Holden will try to work toward a 53-man roster spot next summer.

  • Cowboys' Israel Abanikanda: Inks reserve/future deal with DAL

Dallas signed Abanikanda to a reserve/future contract Tuesday.

Abanikanda signed with the Cowboys' practice squad in November after he spent training camp and the preseason with Green Bay. A fifth-round pick by the Jets in 2023, Abanikanda hasn't appeared in a regular-season game since that rookie season.
