The Bengals signed Grandy off the Vikings' practice squad Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Grandy spent the previous two seasons with Cincinnati prior to being a part of final cuts this past summer. With Tanner Hudson (pectoral) done for the season and Erick All going down with a knee injury Sunday against the Ravens, Grandy gives the Bengals another reliable tight end behind Mike Gesicki and Drew Sample.

Rakestraw (ankle) is not believed to be dealing with a major injury after he was forced to exit Sunday's win over the Packers, Nolan Bianchi of The Detroit News reports.

Coach Dan Campbell said Rakestraw could practice this week, and he has a chance to a play Sunday against the undefeated Vikings. Rock Ya-Sin filled in at cornerback following Rakestraw's injury and would be in line for increased snaps on defense if the latter is unable to face Minnesota.

Franklin suffered a hairline fracture in his shin during last Thursday's practice, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

The veteran linebacker missed Sunday's loss to the Lions and is expected to miss additional time, but coach Matt LaFleur indicated Franklin will not be placed on injured reserve. Isaiah McDuffie and Ty'Ron Hopper will continue to hold down the fort at linebacker for the Packers while Franklin is sidelined.

McConkey (concussion) was spotted on the field in a no-contact jersey during the Chargers' bonus practice session Monday, Noah Furtado of The Athletic reports.

After a Week 7 bye, the Chargers held an unofficial practice Monday as they begin prepping for a road matchup with the Rams next Sunday. Though the team won't have to release its first Week 8 injury report Wednesday, McConkey appears poised to be listed as at least a limited practice participant, which suggests that he's made some progress through the five-step concussion protocol. The wideout will look to practice fully by the end of the week and receive clearance from an independent neurologist in order to play against the Rams.

The Eagles reinstated Stowers (quadriceps/hamstring) from injured reserve ahead of Monday's game against the Cowboys.

Philadelphia had listed Stowers as questionable for the contest, but after bringing him back from IR, the rookie second-round pick out of Vanderbilt will be available to make his NFL debut after sitting out the team's first six games of the season. With Grant Calcaterra (back) also being reinstated from IR, the Eagles now have four tight ends on the 53-man roster. Dallas Goedert should be locked into a sizable snap share as the Eagles' starting tight end, while Calcaterra and Johnny Mundt function mainly as blockers at the position and Stowers provides more of a pass-catching presence. Stowers' receiving skills could come in handy while the Eagles are down their top two wideouts in DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) on Monday.

The Raiders designated Bech (forearm) for return from injured reserve Monday.

The transaction opens up a 21-day window wherein Bech can practice with the team while the Raiders evaluate him for a potential return to the 53-man roster. Before fracturing his left forearm in a Week 3 win over the Saints, Bech had recorded five receptions for 48 yards and a touchdown on six targets while serving as the Raiders' No. 3 wideout behind Tre Tucker and Jalen Nailor.

Head coach Klint Kubiak said that Cousins will remain the Raiders' starting quarterback heading into Sunday's game against the Jets, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN reports. "There is no controversy," Kubiak said. "He is playing at a very high level."

Though the Raiders have dropped four straight games to drop to 3-4 on the season, Kubiak reaffirmed his commitment to Cousins, who has done his part to keep the team competitive amid the losing streak. The veteran signal-caller leads the NFL with 16 touchdown passes and ranks third with 1,877 passing yards, with the Raiders' struggling defense (28.1 points allowed per game) and poor running game (3.0 yards per carry) having been the bigger culprits in the team's recent swoon. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Kubiak said that No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza is "going to play at some point," but the rookie looks like he'll have to wait at least one more week before seeing extended action while Cousins has directed a serviceable offense.

Lions head coach Dan Campbell said that St. Brown tweaked his ankle during Sunday's 20-17 win over the Packers but should be ready to practice Thursday, Richard Silva of The Detroit News reports.

Campbell is planning for St. Brown to rest during the Lions' first Week 8 session Wednesday, but the star wideout should be able to practice during the subsequent two days to put himself on a path to play Sunday against the undefeated Vikings. The ankle injury likely explains why he saw a slight decline in playing time -- he logged 53 of 68 offensive snaps (78 percent) -- but St. Brown still delivered for fantasy managers in the win over Green Bay. Though he was held out of the end zone for the third game in a row, St. Brown finished with nine receptions for a season-high 153 yards.

Ravens head coach Jesse Minter said that Jackson (ankle) is "in a decent spot" to play Sunday against the Bills, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

The coach's comments don't provide much in the way of new insight into the status of Jackson, who has sat out the Ravens' last three games due to what the quarterback has labeled as a left high-ankle sprain. Minter has classified Jackson as day-to-day ahead of the Ravens' past two games, only for the two-time MVP to be ruled out from playing at least a day in advance of both contests. Jackson was at least able to take a notable step forward in his recovery last week by practicing on a limited basis Wednesday through Friday, so if the signal-caller is able to maintain that level of activity or take on more reps during Week 8 prep, he should have a good chance at returning to action. The Ravens have gone 1-2 and have averaged 17.7 points per game while Tyler Huntley has started in place of Jackson.

Head coach John Harbaugh reiterated Monday that he's confident in Zvada and said that the Giants have no plans to work out other kickers, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

Though the Giants escaped with a 27-21 overtime win over the Texans on Sunday, Zvada had his second rough performance in the past three weeks. The undrafted rookie out of Michigan was unable to connect on field-goal tries of 44 and 56 yards, giving him five misses on 18 attempts through seven games. The Giants are hoping that their upcoming Week 8 bye will give Zvada some time to iron out kinks and refine his approach before the team returns to action Nov. 8 versus the Eagles.
