  • Zxavian Harris: Waived by Saints

New Orleans waived Harris (foot) from the NFI list with a non-football injury designation Saturday.

Harris had foot surgery in March and was placed on the active/NFI list in late July. The 22-year-old originally signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent, but he may need to find work with another organization once he's healthy.

  • Eagles' Chance Campbell: Dealing with hamstring injury

Campbell did not participate in Saturday's training camp practice due to a hamstring injury, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.

Campbell may have tweaked his hamstring during a practice session earlier in the week, and his status will be worth monitoring ahead of the Eagles' preseason opener against the Ravens on Saturday, Aug. 15. He caught on with the Eagles in January and is looking to earn a spot on the 53-man roster by the end of training camp. Campbell was a sixth-round selection of the Titans in the 2022 NFL Draft but has not seen regular-season action since 2023.

  • Saints' Chris Rumph: Managing ankle issue

Rumph didn't practice Saturday due to an ankle injury, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.

Per Jackson, Rumph left practice early Friday after hurting his ankle, and he wasn't ready to return Saturday. It's not clear how serious the issue is, but an extended absence could hurt Rumph's chances of making the 53-man roster.

  • Braxton Jones OT | CHI

Bears' Braxton Jones: Dealing with 'minor' knee issue

Jones isn't practicing Saturday due to a knee injury, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Jones made an early exit from practice Thursday, and he isn't yet ready to return. However, Biggs describes the knee issue as "minor," so it doesn't seem like Jones is at risk of not being ready for Week 1 of the regular season. He's projected to compete for the starting role at left tackle.

  • Valentin Senn OL | ARI

Cardinals' Valentin Senn: Sees playing time in HOF Game

Senn (undisclosed) played 26 snaps on offense during the Cardinals' 33-30 loss to the Panthers in Thursday's Hall of Fame Game.

Senn missed the entire 2025 season after being placed on injured reserve due to an undisclosed injury. He's back with the Cardinals for training camp and is competing for a spot on the team's 53-man roster for the 2026 campaign.

  • Commanders' Max Scharping: Signs with Washington

Scharping (knee) agreed to a contract with the Commanders on Saturday.

Scharping tore his ACL while with Pittsburgh last September and ended the year on IR. He appears to be back to health and will get a chance to compete for a depth role along Washington's offensive line.

  • D.J. Davidson DT | WAS

Commanders' D.J. Davidson: Retires from NFL

The Commanders placed Davidson on the reserve/retired list Saturday.

Davidson was a fifth-round selection of the Giants in the 2022 NFL Draft. He appeared in 47 regular-season games (four starts) across four years with the Giants and logged 49 tackles (26 solo), including 2.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries and three pass defenses. Davidson signed a one-year contract with the Commanders in March, but the Arizona State product will hang up his cleats instead.

  • Broncos' Matt Henningsen: Moved to injured reserve

The Broncos placed Henningsen (Achilles) on the reserve/injured list Saturday, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.

The move comes after Henningsen tore his Achilles during Friday's training camp practice, marking the second consecutive year in which he's suffered that particular injury. He'll focus on his rehab and recovery to be available for the 2027 season, though he'll enter that offseason as an unrestricted free agent.

  • Owen Wright RB | HOU

Texans' Owen Wright: New opportunity in Houston

The Texans signed Wright to a contract Saturday.

Wright signed a reserve/future contract with the Buccaneers in January after appearing in three regular-season games in 2025. He was waived by the Bucs in May, but he'll now have the opportunity to participate in training camp practices with the Texans. Wright's chances of making the 53-man roster at the end of training camp are slim, but a strong audition in practices and preseason games could be enough for him to stick around in Houston as a member of the team's practice squad.

  • Kenny Yeboah TE | ARI

Cardinals' Kenny Yeboah: Lands on IR

The Cardinals placed Yeboah (hamstring) on injured reserve Saturday.

Yeboah injured his hamstring during the Cardinals' 33-30 loss to the Panthers in Thursday's Hall of Fame Game. The injury is severe enough for Yeboah to go on IR, which means he won't be eligible to play in 2026 unless an injury settlement is reached with Arizona. Yeboah has not seen NFL regular-season action since 2024 with the Jets and was battling for a depth spot on the Cardinals' 53-man roster prior to his season-ending injury.
