Halton (ankle) was not listed on Wednesday's practice report, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.

Halton did not return to the 49ers' Week 3 win over the Cardinals due to an ankle injury. However, his absence from Wednesday's injury report indicates that his ankle is fine, and the rookie fourth-rounder should be available for Sunday's home game against the Broncos. Halton has eight tackles (five solo) and one pass defense through the first three games of the regular season.

Landman (shoulder) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

Landman was able to play through the shoulder injury during Sunday's game at Denver, but he's apparently still not back at full strength. Barring any setbacks, however, there's still a good chance he'll suit up in Week 4 at Philadelphia.

Greenlaw (quadriceps) didn't practice Wednesday, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.

Greenlaw injured his quad during the fourth quarter of the 49ers' 36-30 win over the Cardinals in Week 3, when he logged eight tackles (three solo). The veteran linebacker will need to return to practice in at least a limited capacity over the coming days to have a realistic chance of playing against the Broncos on Sunday. If Greenlaw is unable to play, then Garret Wallow would likely start alongside Fred Warner and Jaden Dugger at linebacker.

Shipley (foot) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.

Shipley ended Week 3 prep with back-to-back limited practices and had no injury designation heading into the Eagles' 27-7 loss to the Bears on Monday Night Football. Shipley's downgrade to a non-participant in Wednesday's session could be precautionary or could imply that the running back aggravated the issue during Monday's game.

Love (calf) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Love managed to return to practice, albeit in a limited capacity, after sitting out the Week 3 loss to the Commanders due to a calf injury. If the 2019 fourth-round pick manages to practice either Thursday or Friday as well, he should have a good chance of suiting up for Sunday's matchup versus the Chargers.

Hodge (knee) did not practice Wednesday, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.

Hodge may have tweaked his knee during the 49ers' 36-30 win over the Cardinals in Week 3, when he played 54 offensive snaps without seeing a target from Brock Purdy. Hodge will have two more opportunities to log a full practice and avoid an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Broncos.

Hooker (forearm) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Tommy Yarrish of the Cowboys' official site reports.

Hooker was unable to practice during the Cowboys' Week 3 prep, being ruled out early ahead of the game against the Ravens. The free safety starting Week 4 prep as a limited participant is a great sign that the 30-year-old may be able to suit up for Sunday's game against the Texans. Hooker will likely need to upgrade to a full participant by Friday to avoid any injury designation ahead of Sunday's contest.

The Giants signed Haener to their practice squad Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Haener began the season with the Giants' practice squad before being signed to the active roster last week, only to subsequently be waived following the team's trade for J.J. McCarthy on Monday. Haener will likely continue to serve as the emergency third-string quarterback behind Jameis Winston and McCarthy.

Houston cut Oliver from its practice squad Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Less than two weeks after signing Oliver to their practice squad, the Texans are now parting ways with him. Over three games with the Titans in 2025, he caught his only target for eight yards.

Overshown (hamstring) did not participate in Wednesday's practice, Tommy Yarrish of the Cowboys' official site reports.

Overshown was not practiced since sustaining a hamstring injury during the Cowboys' Week 1 loss to the Giants. The linebacker continues to recover from the injury. Still, the 26-year-old will not suit up for Sunday's game against the Texans unless he can log at least one session of limited practice participation by Friday.
