Giants' Abdul Carter: Back at practice
Carter (hand) was a full participant during the Giants' training camp practice Tuesday, Evan Barnes of Newsday reports.
Carter missed Monday's session due to an issue with his hand, but it doesn't look like it was anything too serious. He also tended to a minor ankle issue the week prior. Barring any further setbacks, he should be good to go for Week 1 of the regular season versus the Cowboys.

Giants' Abdul Carter: Suffers hand injury
Carter (hand) did not participate in Monday's practice, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Coach John Harbaugh does not seem overly concerned about the star strong-side linebacker's injury, meaning Carter will likely be back to practice shortly. Carter has already sustained two injuries throughout the 2026 offseason, having just recovered from an ankle issue Thursday. The team will likely be cautious with Carter's recovery, but at present, his Week 1 availability doesn't appear to be in any jeopardy.

Giants' Abdul Carter: Nursing ankle sprain
Carter did not practice Tuesday or Wednesday after spraining his ankle Monday, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
Leonard also noted that Carter had his ankle tightly wrapped during Wednesday's walkthrough, but it's an encouraging sign that he's not wearing a boot. The 22-year-old edge rusher is targeting a return for the beginning of training camp.

Giants' Abdul Carter: Twists ankle
Head coach John Harbaugh told reporters that Carter twisted his ankle during Monday's practice, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Harbaugh added that the injury "doesn't look serious," but the Giants likely will be cautious with Carter's health ahead of the 2026 season. Carter, the No. 3 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, posted solid numbers during his rookie campaign, recording 43 total tackles, including 4.0 sacks, and two forced fumbles across 17 contests.
