  • Panthers' Bobby Brown: Full participant Wednesday

Brown (back) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.

Brown was unable to suit up for the Panthers' Week 2 win over the Falcons due to a back injury. The defensive tackle appears to be ready to return to action, logging full participation in the first practice of Week 3. Brown will likely start alongside Lee Hunter and Derrick Brown in the Panthers' 3-4 defense during Sunday's game against the Browns.

  • Naquan Jones DT | SF

49ers' Naquan Jones: Signs with San Francisco

The 49ers signed Jones to the active roster Wednesday from the Vikings' practice squad.

Jones dealt with an undisclosed injury through the end of training camp and into his tenure with the Vikings' practice squad. The defensive tackle is evidently healthy and set to suit up for the 49ers in Sunday's contest against the Cardinals. Defensive tackle CJ West (undisclosed) was moved to IR in a corresponding move.

  • Cardinals' Dadrion Taylor-Demerson: Misses practice Wednesday

Taylor-Demerson (back) did not participate at the Cardinals' practice Wednesday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Taylor-Demerson is dealing with an apparent back injury after he played two defensive snaps and 15 snaps on special-teams during the team's 31-7 loss to the Seahawks in Week 2. The safety will have two more chances to return to practice before Sunday's matchup with the 49ers.

  • M.J. Stewart SAF | HOU

Texans' M.J. Stewart: Back at practice

The Texans designated Stewart (quadriceps) for return from their reserve/PUP list Wednesday.

He'll still have to miss at least the next two games, but the move opens a 21-day window during which Stewart can be activated before he would have to go back to the PUP list for the rest of the season. He was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, per the Texans' official site.

  • Jeremy Reaves DB | WAS

Commanders' Jeremy Reaves: Limited participant Wednesday

Reaves (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Reaves likely sustained his knee injury in the Commanders' Week 2 loss to the Cowboys. The starting free safety's ability to practice, even in a limited capacity, means he is on pace to play in Sunday's game against the Seahawks. Reaves will need to log a full practice session by Friday to avoid any injury designation heading into Sunday's showdown.

  • Cardinals' Andrew Billings: Not included on injury report

Billings (knee) did not appear on the Cardinals' injury report Wednesday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Billings was unable to play in Sunday's 31-7 loss to the Seahawks after suffering a knee injury earlier in the week, but he now appears to be back to full health. The 31-year-old will likely be back in his role as a primary reserve option behind Roy Lopez (groin) and Walter Nolen at defensive tackle versus San Francisco in Week 3.

  • Leo Chenal LB | WAS

Commanders' Leo Chenal: Limited in practice Wednesday

Chenal (chest) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Chenal likely suffered his chest injury in the Commanders' Week 2 loss to the Cowboys. Chenal was the starter in the Week 2 loss due to Frankie Luvu (groin) being sidelined with an injury. The inside linebacker's limited status in Wednesday's practice means he should have a good chance to once again suit up as the starter for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. Chenal will have to reach full practice participation by Friday to avoid any injury designation ahead of Sunday's contest.

  • Deonte Banks CB | NYG

Giants' Deonte Banks: Estimated as limited participant Wednesday

Banks (calf) was estimated as a limited participant for the Giants' walkthrough practice Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Banks was unable to practice at the end of last week before sitting out Monday's loss against the Rams, so his designation is relatively encouraging. He should get chances to potentially practice in earnest Thursday and Friday ahead of Sunday's game versus the Titans.

  • Frankie Luvu LB | WAS

Commanders' Frankie Luvu: DNP with groin injury

Luvu (groin) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.

Luvu suffered a groin strain in the Commanders' Week 1 loss to the Eagles and has not practiced since the incident. The linebacker has continued his streak of DNPs into Week 3, implying the 30-year-old is no closer to suiting up for Sunday's game against the Seahawks than he was to suiting up for the team's Week 2 loss to the Cowboys.

  • Ty Okada SAF | SEA

Seahawks' Ty Okada: Misses practice Wednesday

Okada (hamstring) did not participate at the Seahawks' practice Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Okada has missed both of the team's first two games of the season while recovering from a hamstring injury that he suffered ahead of Week 1. The safety will have two more chances to return to practice prior to Sunday's matchup with Washington.
