Stowers' path to Fantasy relevancy figures to be a slow, winding road until Dallas Goedert isn't on the Eagles. That could happen as soon as 2027, or if Goedert misses time in 2026. Either way, it keeps Stowers from being a good pick in redraft leagues, but he'll be a popular pick in early Round 2 in rookie-only drafts. The nearly 6-foot-4, 239-pounder has very good quickness for a big man, with very good hands and a big catch radius. He just isn't a physical player, which could limit his playing time unless he proves to be too big a matchup problem for opponents. Expect solid stats from Stowers soon after his first season.

Eagles' Eli Stowers: Dealing with minor injury?
Rotowire
Stowers appears to have a lower-body injury and isn't doing much at Wednesday's practice, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
The rookie second-round pick has a sleeve over his right leg and reportedly hasn't been doing much this week. Philadelphia's first-round pick, WR Makai Lemon, has also been absent from recent practices, nursing a hamstring injury that doesn't sound overly severe. Stowers' issue doesn't sound serious either, but it's possible he'll be limited for these last few practices before the Eagles break for the summer. Nothing at this stage hints at doubt about his availability for the start of training camp in late July. The concern for Stowers' fantasy value is Dallas Goedert's continued presence in Philadelphia, not a minor injury during OTAs.

Eagles' Eli Stowers: Picked by Philadelphia
Rotowire
The Eagles selected Stowers in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 54th overall.
Stowers (6-foot-4, 239 pounds) began his college career as a distinguished quarterback recruit for Texas A&M but couldn't catch on at the position, leading to him converting to tight end. He would play tight end for New Mexico State (2023) and Vanderbilt (2024-2025), and he proved a quick study. By the time he transferred to the Commodores, it was clear that Stowers had standout natural pass-catching ability, both in the sense of ball skills and yardage after the catch. Though Stowers might not be a good blocker by tight end standards, his 4.51-second 40 at the combine is actually faster than fellow rookie and 20th overall Eagles draft pick Makai Lemon's 4.53-second pro day 40. With a 45.5-inch vertical jump and 135-inch broad jump to go with that speed, Stowers is highly athletic even by wide receiver standards. Although he can't play the same type of tight end as starter Dallas Goedert, it might be difficult for Philadelphia to keep Stowers off the field as time passes.
