  • Jalen Pitre SAF | HOU

Texans' Jalen Pitre: Steady in Week 16 win

Pitre posted seven tackles (six solo) and a defensed pass Sunday in a 23-21 win against the Raiders.

Pitre tied for third on the Texans in stops in the narrow victory. After missing three games while in concussion protocol, Pitre has logged every defensive snap for Houston over the past four weeks. He's up to 66 tackles and 11 defensed passes, including four pickoffs, over 12 games this season.

  • Jordyn Brooks LB | MIA

Dolphins' Jordyn Brooks: Leads team in tackles

Brooks logged 14 tackles (nine solo) during Miami's loss to the Bengals on Sunday.

Brooks led the team in tackles once again, and he's now compiled double-digit stops in nine of his 15 appearances this season. The 28-year-old has totaled 169 tackles (93 solo), including 3.5 sacks, and he'll look to maintain this high level of production across the team's final two games of the campaign.

  • Calen Bullock SAF | HOU

Texans' Calen Bullock: Paces Texans in stops Week 16

Bullock tallied nine tackles (three solo) in Sunday's 23-21 victory against Las Vegas.

Bullock's nine tackles led Houston and marked a career high. They also pushed Bullock up to 60 stops on the campaign and have exceeded the 54 he recorded as a rookie last season. The second-year safety has started every game for the Texans during his sophomore campaign and has registered nine defensed passes, including four interceptions.

  • Chargers' Tony Jefferson: Season-high eight stops Week 16

Jefferson accumulated eight tackles (four solo) during the Chargers' 34-17 win over the Cowboys on Sunday.

Jefferson ended up leading the Chargers with a season-high eight tackles during Sunday's victory. Across the four games since the Chargers' Week 12 bye, the veteran safety has accumulated 21 tackles (14 solo) and three pass defenses (two interceptions). Jefferson will look to add to his tackling total against the Texans on Saturday.

  • Texans' Kamari Lassiter: Misses practice Tuesday

Lassiter (foot) was a non-participant in practice Tuesday.

Lassiter has been dealing with a foot injury throughout December, but the issue hasn't caused him to sit out any games. He's missed the first day of practice each of the past four weeks, so Tuesday's DNP shouldn't be particularly alarming. Unless Lassiter suffered a setback during Sunday's win over Las Vegas, he seems likely to play Saturday versus the Chargers.

  • James Williams LB | TEN

Titans' James Williams: Logs season-high tackles

Williams tallied nine tackles (eight solo), including 1.0 sacks, during Tennessee's win over the Chiefs on Sunday.

Williams benefited from increased playing time with Cedric Gray out with a concussion and turned in his best performance of the campaign, leading the team in tackles in addition to recording his first sack. The 22-year-old should get another start at linebacker should Gray remain sidelined for the Week 17 matchup versus the Saints.

  • Derwin James FS | LAC

Chargers' Derwin James: Forces fumble vs. Dallas

James logged six tackles (five solo) and a forced fumble during the Chargers' 34-17 win over the Cowboys on Sunday.

James caused a turnover for a second consecutive week, when he knocked the ball out of the hands of a scrambling Joe Milton, which Tuli Tuipulotu jumped on to give the Chargers the ball at midfield. James has logged 16 combined tackles over his last two outings, and the veteran safety is up to 86 tackles (46 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and six pass defenses (two interceptions) across 15 regular-season games. He'll have two more games to reach the tackling century mark for the fifth time in his NFL career beginning this Saturday against the Texans.

  • Abdul Carter DE | NYG

Giants' Abdul Carter: Logs sack in loss

Carter recorded two tackles (one solo), including 1.0 sacks, in the Giants loss versus Minnesota on Sunday.

Carter produced one of the team's four sacks during the loss. The rookie first-round pick got off to a slow start this season but has been on a hot streak as of late, logging one sack in each of his last three outings after failing to tally one across the first 12 weeks of the campaign.

  • Roquan Smith ILB | BAL

Ravens' Roquan Smith: Reaches double-digit stops again

Smith racked up 10 tackles (eight solo) in Sunday's Week 16 loss to New England.

Smith was a tackling machine, as usual, leading Baltimore in stops and logging double-digit tackles for the fifth straight game. The veteran linebacker is up to 124 tackles on the campaign, which is tied for 11th in the NFL despite the fact that Smith missed two games earlier in the season.

  • Dane Belton SAF | NYJ

Giants' Dane Belton: Productive vs. Vikings

Belton tallied four tackles (three solo) during the Giants' loss to Minnesota on Sunday.

Belton had a solid outing in the loss despite playing just 64 percent of the team's defensive snaps. The 25-year-old has now compiled 100 tackles in a season for the first time in his career and will look to keep producing during the Week 17 matchup versus the Raiders.
