Myles Murphy DE | CIN
Bengals' Myles Murphy: Noticeable improvement in Year 3
Murphy tallied a career-high 52 tackles (28 solo), including 5.5 sacks, plus three passes defensed and one fumble recovery across 17 regular-season appearances in 2025.
Murphy recorded career-high marks across the board while suiting up for all 17 regular-season games for the first time in his career. The 2023 first-round pick had seemingly been headed toward 'bust' status after totaling just 3.0 sacks across his first two seasons with Cincinnati, but Murphy put together encouraging tape in 2025. He'll look to take another step forward in 2026, which will be the final year of his rookie contract, assuming the team declines his fifth-year option.

Jordan Battle SAF | CIN
Bengals' Jordan Battle: Leads team with 125 tackles
Battle racked up 125 tackles (62 solo) across 17 regular-season appearances in 2025. He also tallied six passes defensed, including four interceptions, and two forced fumbles.
Battle exploded onto the scene as a high-end IDP fantasy asset in 2025, more than doubling his tackle total from the year prior while suiting up for all 17 regular-season games for a third consecutive year. The 25-year-old is slated to play out the final year of his rookie contract with Cincinnati during the 2026 campaign, in which he projects to reprise a valuable starting role at safety.

Jordan Whittington WR | LAR
Rams' Jordan Whittington: Missing wild-card round
Whittington (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Panthers in the wild-card round.
Whittington was sidelined for all three of the Rams' practices this week, leading to him being ruled out Thursday. With Davante Adams back from his hamstring injury, there likely won't be many targets to go around behind Puka Nacua and Adams, with Konata Mumpfield, Xavier Smith and Tutu Atwell left to compete for those looks among wide receivers. Blake Corum is a candidate to return kickoffs in Whittington's absence.

Geno Stone SAF | CIN
Bengals' Geno Stone: UFA after first 100-tackle season
Stone recorded a career-high 104 tackles (65 solo), including 2.0 sacks, as well as two interceptions among his four passes defensed while playing in all 17 games in 2025.
Stone took one of his two interceptions to the house for a pick-six against the Patriots in Week 12, giving him an interception-return touchdown in each of the past two seasons. The veteran safety enjoyed a strong season despite Cincinnati's struggles as a unit, and Stone should garner plenty of attention in free agency now that his two-year, $14 million contract with the Bengals has concluded, as he'll be only 27 years old at the start of next season despite having already logged 85 regular-season appearances.

Josh Wallace CB | LAR
Rams' Josh Wallace: Questionable after limited practice
Wallace (ankle) was limited in practice Thursday and is officially listed as questionable for Saturday's wild-card-round matchup on the road against Carolina, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Head coach Sean McVay indicated that Wallace's status may be determined by how comfortable he looked handling limited on-field reps Thursday, per Nate Atkins of The Athletic. As such, it won't be surprising if the reserve slot cornerback's status isn't made official until roughly 90 minutes prior to Saturday's 4:30 p.m. ET kickoff. Wallace has been sidelined due to a lingering ankle injury since Week 16.

Terrance Ferguson TE | LAR
Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Questionable after limited practice
Ferguson (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Saturday's wild-card round game against the Panthers after being a limited participant at Thursday's practice, Adam Grosbard of the LA Daily News reports.
Ferguson upgraded to limited participation Thursday after a pair of practice absences, but the rookie remains uncertain to make his playoff debut Sunday at Carolina. Tyler Higbee (ankle) practiced without limitations Thursday and doesn't have an injury designation, so Higbee and Colby Parkinson are in line to lead a Rams tight end room that also includes Davis Allen and Nick Vannett. Higbee, Parkinson and Allen all played at least 64 percent of offensive snaps in the regular-season finale against the Cardinals, which Ferguson sat out due to the latter's hamstring injury.

Tyler Higbee TE | LAR
Rams' Tyler Higbee: Clear for wild-card round
Higbee (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Saturday's wild-card game in Carolina, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Higbee kicked off the week listed as limited on injury reports Tuesday and Wednesday due to the ankle issue that sidelined him Weeks 12-17, but he ended it with a full practice Thursday, paving the way for him to play in the Rams' playoff opener. In his return from injured reserve this past Sunday against the Cardinals, he ranked third among L.A. tight ends in snap share (64 percent) but still put up 91 yards and one touchdown on five catches (six targets). With rookie TE Terrance Ferguson (hamstring) questionable for Saturday, Higbee, Colby Parkinson and Davis Allen appear poised to handle most of the reps at the position this weekend, even if Ferguson is active.

Kamren Kinchens SAF | LAR
Rams' Kamren Kinchens: Nearly doubles playing time
Kinchens recorded 84 tackles (56 solo), six passes defended and two interceptions in 17 regular-season games during 2025.
The second-year safety saw a noticeable uptick in playing time compared to his rookie year, taking the field in all 17 games and playing at least half of the snaps on defense in every game except Week 7 against Jacksonville. The highlight of Kinchens' sophomore season was Week 11 against Seattle, where he picked off Sam Darnold twice, and he'll look to continue improving alongside a young but formidable defensive core for the Rams during the postseason and in 2026.
-
Demetrius Knight Jr. LB | CIN
Bengals' Demetrius Knight: Exceeds 100 tackles as rookie
Knight had 106 tackles (58 solo), including 3.0 sacks, as well as two interceptions among his seven passes defensed while playing in all 17 games in 2025.
Knight was one of the few bright spots in a tough season for Cincinnati's defense. The 2025 second-round draft pick appeared in every game of his rookie regular season and started 14 while showcasing a promising mix of run-stopping and coverage ability. He'll likely reprise his role as the starting weak-side linebacker in 2026, as the Bengals have plenty of other holes to fill on defense.

Davante Adams WR | LAR
Rams' Davante Adams: Set to return Saturday
Adams (hamstring) doesn't have a designation for Saturday's wild-card game at Carolina, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Adams thus has been cleared for his first game action since Week 15, when he aggravated a hamstring injury. Prior to missing the final three contests of the regular season, the wideout was a TD machine, racking up 14 such catches, which ended up leading the entire NFL. While fellow WR Puka Nacua still dominates the attention of QB Matthew Stafford, Adams' red-zone prowess will be key as the Rams open the postseason.
