  • Brevin Jordan TE | HOU

Texans' Brevin Jordan: Avoids injury report Wednesday

Jordan (knee) was not listed on Houston's official injury report Wednesday.

Jordan dealt with a knee issue during training camp and the preseason, but he's on track to be available for Week 1 versus the Bills. How much playing time he'll actually see is another question, as the Texans have four other healthy tight ends on their current 53-man roster.

  • Falcons' Billy Bowman: Limited in Wednesday's practice

Bowman (Achilles) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.

Bowman was removed from the active/PUP list at the end of training camp after clearing his physical, but his workload is still being limited as he continues to recover from a torn Achilles that he sustained in November. Per Josh Kendall of The Athletic, Bowman said Wednesday that he feels ready to play in Sunday's season opener versus the Steelers, but he was non-committal about suiting up Week 1. His practice participation over the next two days will likely help the Falcons determine his status.

  • Jalen Ramsey CB | PIT

Steelers' Jalen Ramsey: Jumps into practice

Ramsey (knee) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

Ramsey was activated off the active/PUP list in late August prior to cutdown day. The starting slot cornerback for the Steelers missed most of training camp with a knee injury but has regained his health in time for the regular season.

  • Ravens' Teddye Buchanan: Logs limited practice Wednesday

Buchanan (knee) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.

Buchanan apparently still hasn't fully recovered from the ACL tear he suffered in Week 12 of the 2025 campaign, and his availability for the start of the new regular season is up in the air. He'll probably have to practice in full Thursday or Friday to avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend.

  • Jaquan Brisker SAF | PIT

Steelers' Jaquan Brisker: Back in action

Brisker (undisclosed) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

Brisker was unable to participate in the preseason due to a persistent undisclosed issue. The starting free safety appears to have overcome the injury just in time for the first official week of regular-season practice and is all set to go for Sunday's game against the Falcons.

  • Packers' Zach Bako-Bewele: Limited at practice Wednesday

Bako-Bewele (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.

Bako-Bewele is working his way back from offseason surgery to repair a partially torn patellar tendon. While he isn't a lock to suit up for the NFC North clash with the Vikings, his limited participation in Wednesday's practice keeps the door open for Week 1.

  • Ben Skowronek WR | PIT

Steelers' Ben Skowronek: Clears concussion protocol

Skowronek (concussion) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

Skowronek was placed in concussion protocol at the end of August after the wide receiver suffered a head injury in the Steelers' 28-27 preseason loss to the Bills. The 29-year-old progressed through the entirety of the league's five-step protocol and was cleared by an independent neurologist before Wednesday's first official practice.

  • Cade Mays C | DET

Lions' Cade Mays: Targets mid-October return

Mays (wrist) is looking to return from injured reserve by mid-October, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Mays was placed on IR during the Aug. 30 cutdown day. The center fractured his wrist during the preseason, but is eyeing a quick month and a half of downtime before being able to return to protecting Jared Goff. While Mays remains on IR, Juice Scruggs will be the starting safety for the Lions.

  • Tuli Tuipulotu LB | LAC

Chargers' Tuli Tuipulotu: Limited in Wednesday's session

Tuipulotu (hip) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Tuipulotu is still recovering from a hip injury he suffered during the preseason. The linebacker's designation as limited in Wednesday's first official practice is a good sign for his eligibility for Sunday's regular-season opener against the Cardinals. The 24-year-old will likely need to log two more practices, preferably full, to be cleared and ready to suit up for the contest.

  • Myles Garrett LB | LAR

Rams' Myles Garrett: Listed as full Wednesday

Garrett (knee) was listed as a full participant on Wednesday's injury report, Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Garrett was contained to work on the side with the Rams' training staff, at best, during training camp due to swelling in his knee. He recently mixed into drills this past weekend as the team prepared for the trip to Melbourne, Australia, and while he was listed as a DNP on Tuesday, he was listed as FP on L.A.'s injury report Wednesday, setting the stage for him to make his Rams debut Thursday against the 49ers.
