Polin scored twice in AHL Colorado's 6-3 win over Coachella Valley on Saturday.
Polin has posted nine goals and 17 points over 35 AHL outings this season. He also made two appearances with the Avalanche earlier in the campaign. The 26-year-old's modest scoring numbers likely mean he won't see many additional chances for the big club.
