Strome logged a power-play assist and six shots on goal in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Blackhawks. Strome's first power-play point of the campaign came on a Mason McTavish in the dying seconds of the game. The 31-year-old Strome has filled his role as a secondary scorer well, pocketing six points over 11 contests. He's added 26 shots on net, four PIM, five hits and five blocked shots. He was on the top line Sunday but has more frequently served as a middle-six option. The Ducks have a lot of versatility up front, so expect change to be the only constant among their top-nine forwards.

Strome scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist and went plus-2 in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Devils. Strome helped out on a Brock McGinn tally in the first period before scoring a goal of his own in the third. This was Strome's first multi-point effort of the campaign. A roster shuffle landed him on the fourth line for Sunday's game, which saw him skate a season-low 13:30 in the loss. The center has five points, 20 shots on net and a minus-1 rating over eight contests and had primarily served on the third line to begin the year.

Strome (illness) was on the ice for Tuesday's game-day skate, Patrick Present of The Hockey News reports, indicating he'll be in the lineup to face San Jose. Strome wasn't able to practice Monday but appears to be good to go for Tuesday's tilt. The 31-year-old center should remain in his second-line center role while also seeing minutes with the No. 1 power-play unit. Heading into the matchup with the Sharks, Strome is riding a three-game point streak during which he has registered two goals on seven shots and one helper.

Strome didn't practice Monday due to an illness, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports. Strome has recorded points in three consecutive appearances, including goals in his last two outings. However, it's not yet clear whether he'll be available for Tuesday's game against the Sharks due to his illness. If he's sidelined, Brett Leason could see additional work for the Ducks.

Strome scored a goal on three shots and blocked two shots in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Kings. Strome ended David Rittich's shutout bid at 18:16 of the third period, but the Ducks' comeback ultimately fell short. This was Strome's second game in a row with a goal, and he's up to three points through five outings overall. The 31-year-old center has added 14 shots on net and a minus-2 rating while playing in a third-line role.
