Forsberg scored a goal on four shots in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Hurricanes. Forsberg is up to six goals and three assists during his six-game point streak. He broke up Pyotr Kochetkov's shutout bid at 8:06 of the third period, but the Predators didn't build on his goal. Forsberg now has 15 tallies, 26 points, 105 shots on net, 66 hits, 18 PIM and a minus-1 rating over 33 appearances. He's a strong power winger for fantasy, though his power-play production being slightly down has led to an overall decline in performance so far in 2025-26.

Forsberg extended his point streak to five games with his hat trick, his first of the season, and it was also the first time he's scored multiple goals in the current campaign. Forsberg has been one of the most productive players for the Predators of late, recording eight points (five goals, three assists) in seven appearances this month. He should continue to find lots of opportunities to produce as long as he continues to skate on the first line.

Forsberg has cracked the scoresheet in three games in a row and seems to be leaving his slump behind -- he was coming off an eight-game stretch in which he recorded just two points (one goal, one assist) between Nov. 16 and Dec. 4. Forsberg should continue to have plenty of opportunities to produce as long as he continues to maintain a top-six role in the lineup.

It was Forsberg's first multi-point performance in over a month, snapping a four-game point drought. The veteran winger has a disappointing 10 goals and 19 points in 28 contests -- a pace that would see him fall short of 60 points over a full season for the first time since 2016-17.

The Swede has five goals and eight points in 10 games since the beginning of the month. With 16 points across 22 games, Forsberg remains one of the few Nashville players worth rostering on a regular basis across most formats.
