Glass sustained an upper-body injury in Thursday's game versus the Hurricanes. It's unclear what happened to Glass, but it's enough to keep him out for the rest of the game. The 25-year-old should be considered questionable to play Friday versus the Capitals. If he can't suit up, the Penguins may recall a forward or dress seven defensemen.

Glass logged an assist and two hits in Thursday's 2-1 overtime win over the Ducks. This was Glass's first point in two games since he returned from an illness. Glass has four helpers, 16 shots on net, eight hits, five blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 11 appearances while averaging 12:20 of ice time.

Glass (illness) is slated to return to action for Tuesday's game against the Wild, Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff reports. Glass left Friday's game against Edmonton due to his illness and was unavailable for Saturday's matchup against Vancouver. However, he operated as the fourth-line center during Monday's practice session, signaling that he should be available moving forward. Over nine appearances this season, the 25-year-old has logged three assists, six hits and four blocked shots while averaging 11:40 of ice time.

Glass (illness) won't be in the lineup Saturday versus the Canucks, Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff reports. Glass will miss a game after exiting Friday's contest versus the Oilers following the second period. The 25-year-old may be an option to play Tuesday versus the Wild once the Penguins return home. Valtteri Puustinen will enter the lineup versus Vancouver on Saturday.
