Ingram (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, per the NHL media site. Ingram will now be out for at least three games due to the injury, including a back-to-back this weekend. Karel Vejmelka will take over as Utah's No. 1 goalie, and Jaxson Stauber could be in line for his first NHL action since the 2022-23 campaign during the team's four-game road trip.

Ingram stopped nine of 13 shots before being pulled in the second period during Monday's 6-2 loss to the Capitals. Ingram was returning to the Utah crease after two games and had a woeful performance. He was lifted in the second period in place of Karel Vejmelka, who ended up allowing two more goals in the final frame. Ingram has posted a save percentage below .890 in each of his last four outings, so he's clearly trending in the wrong direction. Over that span, Ingram has gone 1-2-1 with a 3.80 GAA and an .843 save percentage after stopping just 70 of 83 shots.

Ingram stopped 17 of 20 shots in Saturday's 4-0 loss to the Predators. The fourth goal was an empty-netter. Utah's defense kept his workload light, but two goals from Filip Forsberg and one more from Jonathan Marchessault got past Ingram. Marchessault also had an empty-netter. Ingram is 2-2-2 with 18 goals allowed over his last six games, so it can be tough to trust him on a game-to-game basis. He's now at 6-3-3 with a 3.40 GAA and an .879 save percentage through 12 outings. Utah is back in action with a tough home matchup Wednesday versus the Hurricanes.

Ingram will defend the road net Saturday against the Golden Knights, according to Cole Bagley of KSL Sports. Ingram is coming off a 30-save performance in Wednesday's 5-1 win over Calgary. He has a 5-2-2 record with a 3.53 GAA and an .880 save percentage through nine outings this season. Vegas sits second in the league with 4.55 goals per game in 2024-25.

Ingram stopped 30 of 31 shots in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Flames. Ingram put in a strong effort to end his personal three-game losing streak as well as Utah's four-game skid. The 27-year-old netminder improved to 5-2-2 with a 3.53 GAA and an .880 save percentage through nine outings this season. Utah's defensive injuries could continue to make Ingram's job tougher, but he represents the team's best option in goal and should continue to start a majority of the games.
