Olofsson was transferred to long-term injured reserve Wednesday, per PuckPedia. Olofsson was already ruled out for the Golden Knights' road trip, so he won't be back before Sunday. He's already missed the requisite 10 games and 24 days that comes with an LTIR designation, so he'll be eligible to return whenever he's ready.

Head coach Bruce Cassidy said Monday that Olofsson (lower body) won't travel with the Golden Knights during their upcoming road trip, which begins Wednesday in Anaheim, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports. Cassidy said that he thinks Olofsson has "turned a corner" in his recovery process, but he still needs time before he's in the mix to return to game action, and he'll be unavailable for at least three more games. A better idea of Olofsson's return timetable could come into focus once he gets back on the ice for practice and ramps up his activity level.

Olofsson (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, according to the NHL media site. Olofsson has missed the last four games with an injury he suffered against Washington on Oct. 15. The former Sabre got off to a successful start in 2024-25, netting three goals in his first four games with Vegas, but now he's considered week-to-week.

Olofsson (lower body) was labeled week-to-week by coach Bruce Cassidy on Monday. Olofsson was supposed to be getting a fresh start in Vegas but once again finds himself headed for a stint on the sidelines. At minimum, the 29-year-old winger, who has already missed two games due to his lower-body injury, figures to be out of action for at least the next three matchups. Given his recovery timeline, Olofsson is a strong candidate for injured reserve if the Knights need the roster spot.

Olofsson (lower body) won't play Saturday against Florida, according to Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Olofsson will miss his second straight outing. His next chance to play will be Tuesday versus the Kings. Olofsson has three goals and 11 shots on net through four appearances this season.
