Cristobal Huet: Closing out international career
Cristobal Huet will retire from international competition following France's appearance at the 2017 IIHF World Championship.Although Huet is wrapping up his international career, he is still under contract for Lausanne HC of the Swiss League for next season. The netminder last suited up in an NHL game during the 2009-10 campaign when he was with the Blackhawks. Despite being 41 years of age, Huet could still be a factor at Worlds as he looks to get his country past the group stage.

Cristobal Huet: Inks extension overseas
Cristobal Huet will remain with Laussane of the Swiss League through the 2017-18 season, Chris Johnston of Sportsnet reports.Huet last appeared in the NHL with the Blackhawks back during the 2009-10 campaign in which he posted a 26-14-4 record with a 2.50 GAA. Considering the netminder is 41 years old, it seems unlikely he will return to the NHL any time soon.
